City of Vancouver taking steps to fill Downtown Eastside vacant storefronts
The City of Vancouver is taking steps towards a temporary occupancy pilot program to revitalize the Downtown Eastside by filling vacant storefronts more quickly. The program will allow businesses to use empty commercial spaces for up to 12 months without needing rezoning or change of use, provided safety standards are met. Michelle Morton has the details.

Thousands gather for memorial jamboree in honour of slain B.C. Mountie
