Notre Dame receives a prediction for ‘26 DL Elijah Golden, who will commit in late July
Notre Dame football's 2026 class has grown exponentially over the last two weeks, but they will have to wait until the end of July for another one of its top targets to make his decision. Elijah Golden, a 6-foot, 4-inch and 275-pound Floridian, will make his commitment on July 26th as reported by On3's Kyle Kelly, as he will decided from Alabama, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech and the Irish. The good news for Notre Dame is that On3's Mike Singer has put in a prediction for the star defensive lineman to go with the Blue and Gold. Advertisement With all of his official visits concluded, he will now have about a month the finalize his decision. Golden visited South Bend during the weekend of June 20th, his last trip that was scheduled. While Notre Dame has multiple edge rushers committed, they lack a big body on the outside to compliment them. Golden would be that perfect addition, and if Singer is correct, they will be doing just that. On3's Mike Singer projects that Notre Dame will land 2026 WR Devin Fitzgerald
On3's Mike Singer projects that Notre Dame will land 2026 WR Devin Fitzgerald While Notre Dame football didn't land any commitments this past weekend, as head coach Marcus Freeman says, there will be delayed gratification. If On3's Mike Singer is correct, then the Irish will be landing Devin Fitzgerald, the son of NFL and Pittsburgh legend Larry Fitzgerald. The 6-foot, 2-inch and 195-pound prospects is the nation's No. 483 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite, and while the ranking might not be as high as you'd like to see, that doesn't tell the whole story. Devin, like his father, is a great route running, and has been taught the nuances of being a wide receiver by one of the best to ever do it. You'll be hard pressed to find a better mentor than Larry, and he'd most likely bring some of that knowledge with him to South Bend. The elder Fitzgerald is already a friend of the program, having spoken with the team a few years back. If Notre Dame is able to add Devin to its 2026 recruiting class, they'd not only get a great player, but another former NFL father with loads of experience and knowledge to help as well.

Notre Dame football commit shuts down recruitment, won't visit other schools
Notre Dame football commit shuts down recruitment, won't visit other schools This era of college football has seen plenty of prospects flip their commitments, as Notre Dame football has been on both ends of the spectrum. Fortunately, one of its most recent commitments, Georgia wide receiver Bubba Frazier recently told On3 that he's 'shutting it down,' and won't be entertaining other schools to try and flip him. The biggest player in this decision was the Georgia Bulldogs, as they have been trying to convince the 5-foot, 10-inch and 180-pound receiver to change his mind. That won't be the case going forward, as the nation's No. 292 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite told Mike Singer that he's 'locked in with Notre Dame.' Frazier was seen as an important recruiting win for Notre Dame, going into a Southern state and pulling one of their best. The Irish also have Dylan Faison committed and are heavy after NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald's son, Devin.

Notre Dame football is projected to land high 4-star ‘26 defensive end Rodney Dunham.
Notre Dame football is projected to land high 4-star '26 defensive end Rodney Dunham. Notre Dame football started its spring practices this past week, and with that brought not only the excitement for the upcoming season, but also recruits across the country. One of the biggest names to be in South Bend this week was 2026 North Carolina defensive end Rodney Dunham. In a post on social media Saturday afternoon, the nation's No. 33 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings said he had an 'amazing visit.' Then on Sunday, more good news for the Irish came, as On3's Mike Singer made a prediction that Dunham would eventually be part of Notre Dame's recruiting class. This would be a massive recruiting win, as there aren't many players across the country that are better than him. There is still a long way to go in his recruitment, but at this moment, Notre Dame has put themselves in a fantastic position to land the elite pass rusher. Does Notre Dame have another lacrosse player that can star for the football team?
Does Notre Dame have another lacrosse player that can star for the football team? If you didn't already know, Notre Dame Lacrosse is a powerhouse program, as they are in search of its 3rd straight National Championship this year. We already know a good amount about one of the two-sport starts, Jordan Faison, but could there be another that dabbles in the same sports? On3's Mike Singer believes there is, as he mentioned on social media that Matt Jeffery has shown flashes for the football team as well. Jeffrey is a 5-foot, 11-inch and 195-pound recover, who saw time on special teams during his freshman year. It's not that he's just a good lacrosse player, he's an exceptional one, as he was named as the 2023 USA TODAY National High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year. It really would be something to see two lacrosse-football stars for the Irish playing at extremely high levels for both programs. Hopefully Singer's information isn't incorrect, as this would be quite a story. Jordan Faison has to wait a bit longer to return to a two-sport athlete at Notre Dame Jordan Faison powers Notre Dame lacrosse past Georgetown Notre Dame lacrosse starts its season off on the right foot with a blowout victory
