When Chirag Paswan said Kangana Ranaut's USP is that she isn't ‘politically correct': ‘She knows kya bolna hai kab bolna hai'
Chirag Paswan and
Kangana Ranaut
might now be more widely recognised for their roles in politics, but there was a time when movies shaped their bond. Before stepping into the political ring, the two worked together in the 2011 romantic drama 'Mile Na Mile Hum', directed by Tanveer Khan.
It was Chirag's first film, and alongside Kangana, the cast included
Neeru Bajwa
and
Sagarika Ghatge
. Though the film did not leave a significant mark at the box office, it did forge a connection between Kangana and Chirag that continues to this day.
Chirag said Kangana isn't always 'politically correct'
Chirag was shown a photo of Kangana in a past chat on an ANI Podcast. With a smile, he called her a 'good friend'. When asked if Kangana could make a difference as an MP, Chirag shared, 'One thing I know for sure is that most of the time she isn't politically correct but that's her USP again.
She talks her…' His light-hearted yet honest words showed the respect he has for Kangana's fearless style.
'She knows what to speak and when'
Chirag didn't stop there. Praising Kangana's sharp sense, he added, 'She knows kya bolna hai kab bolna hai. Ab woh politically correct ho, nahi ho woh debatable ho sakta hai (She knows what to speak and when to speak. But whether it is politically correct or not could be debatable).'
When someone jumped in to say Kangana just says what she thinks, Chirag quickly agreed and pointed out that it was Kangana's 'USP'. He also sweetly added, 'we all like her for this'.
Soon after his debut film, Chirag moved on to a career in politics. Meanwhile, Kangana was last seen in her directorial project 'Emergency'. While the film got mixed reviews, many people loved her performance. Up next, Kangana is all set for her Hollywood debut in the horror drama 'Blessed Be the Evil', alongside
Tyler Posey
and Scarlet Rose Stallone.
