SIBU (July 1): The remand period for an Indonesian couple detained in connection with the murder of a man at a garden in Jalan Rantau Panjang here has been extended by a week.
Magistrate Oon Kork Chern granted the extension following an application by the investigating officer ASP Mingat Bakil to enable further investigation of the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
