The player matched all five numbers, 6-28-29-37-40, to win a jackpot of $1,161,960.
The winning ticket was sold at Petry's Bait Company at 2220 Highway 18 in Finlayson.
It marks the second $1 million Gopher 5 jackpot in the past two months, with a ticket bought in Woodbury for the April 9 drawing landing a jackpot of $1,015,162.
The winner from Wednesday's drawing has one year to claim their prize at Minnesota Lottery HQ in Roseville.
