Andrada slams Love Island star as 'game player' saying 'true colours will show'
Dublin Love Island star Andrada Pop has broken her silence about Dejon after she was sensationally dumped from the show. The Miss Bikini Ireland star has spoken out for the first time since being dumped from Love Island, and it appears there's no love lost between her and Dejon. The Dublin native joined the show as a Casa Amor bombshell, where she formed a connection with Ben. The 27-year-old made it back into the main villa after Casa Amor, before eventually being dumped alongside Ben during Monday night's episode. In her exit interview, Andrada took aim at Dejon, and revealed why she doesn't think his relationship with Meg will last. 'Dejon is a very smart and calculated guy who knows how and when to use his words,' she said. 'We would have a flirty conversation wherein he'd ask me a question, I'd answer it, then I'd return the same question but he wouldn't answer because it would make him look bad,' Andrada explained. 'When we got back into the main Villa, he was still open but then Meg got on his back and was upset. Then he shut it off. 'I don't think that he shut it off because he wanted to, he did it because Meg told him so. I definitely feel like things would have been very different if she wasn't there.' 'I think Meg really likes him but I question his intentions towards her,' she continued. 'Is he playing a game and going for the win, or does he actually like her? To be honest, I don't see them lasting on the outside with how he carries on. I feel like his true colours will come out. There's only so long you can uphold this persona.' Shortly before her exit, Andrada got into a row with Meg in the bedroom, after she called her out for eavesdropping on an argument between her and Dejon. However, the 27-year-old has insisted everything is 'squashed' between them. 'She's such a nice girl, I don't have a bad word to say about her,' she said. 'When the text came in to say that we'd been dumped, she was the first person to come up to me and hug me.' 'She told me she'd see me on the outside. It's nice I didn't leave on bad terms with anybody. When asked how she felt about being dumped from the villa, Andrada said: 'It was shocking because we didn't even gather round the Firepit, we just received the unexpected text. 'I didn't think that Ben and I were the weakest couple. I felt like mine and Ben's bond was getting stronger and stronger. It's bittersweet but I'm happy to be leaving with Ben.' 'We want to see where things go because we get along very well,' Andrada said of Ben. 'There's nothing I can fault about the guy. He's a gentleman and treats me like a princess.' She admitted she was 'shocked' at her exit. 'It was shocking because we didn't even gather round the Firepit, we just received the unexpected text. I didn't think that Ben and I were the weakest couple. 'I felt like mine and Ben's bond was getting stronger and stronger. It's bittersweet but I'm happy to be leaving with Ben.' And she said she is rooting for Harry and Helena to win the show. 'I'm rooting for Harry and Helena, I hope they get stronger and stronger. I'm rooting for Lauren and Harrison too but I just don't know his intentions. 'I do feel like Lauren likes him more than he likes her because of how he's carried on. Harrison loves a bit of attention. 'I don't rate a lot of the ways he's gone about things but I hope they have just been bumps in the road for them.' Love Island star Andrada on the war path after villa recoupling
Irish Love Island star Andrada Pop is planning on dropping a bomb in the villa tonight as she is set to reveal to Meg her conversations with Dejon. The Miss Bikini Ireland contestant is reeling from the fallout of the recoupling and the new revelations uncovered. She decides to pull Meg for a chat tonight to discuss Dejon and his antics in Casa Amor. Coming clean about her experience with Dejon, Andrada shares: 'We've got a really good connection and everyone saw it… It's stronger than what he has with you, it's very obvious.' Making it clear about her intentions now she's in the Villa, she continues: 'I will still chat to him.' Meg says of her Casa Amor experience: 'From my side, no one compared to D...' Andrada continues: 'He said he hasn't had a connection with any of the other Bombshells like he's had with me. "He said I'm the best bombshell in there for him.' Meanwhile, after reflecting on her earlier conversation with Andrada, Meg takes Dejon to the Terrace to deliver an ultimatum. 'If you were genuinely all for me, as soon as you walked through the door after Casa, you'd want to close things off. Obviously I feel a certain way about you but you don't feel it back.' She adds: 'You literally need to decide today. I'm not going to sit here and be in a triangle. '... My bottle says Meg, not mug.' Elsewhere, after both choosing to recouple with new Casa Bombshells, Toni and Harrison reunited face-to-face. Harrison tells Toni: 'I'm happy for you.' 'I'm happy for you…' she sarcastically returns. 'My heart is beaming and gleaming.' Unable to resist, Harrison shoots Toni a knowing look whilst licking his lips. Referring to Lauren, Toni warned him: 'Stop looking at me and licking your lips… you're going to make your girlfriend jealous.' 'I'm glad you're still here though, I would've hated to see you go .' 'You would not be the reason I go home, I'll tell you that right now,' Toni quickly responded. Pushing his luck again, Harrison teased: 'Did you miss me? Is it nice to see me? The next day, Helena and Emma clear the air about unfinished business by the Firepit. Intrigued, Helena asks Emma: 'Did you come in here for Harry?' 'No,' Emma responds. 'You don't for one second need to worry about that.' She tells Helena what she really thinks of her situation with Harry: 'I think there's been things which I really don't agree with how you've carried yourself… Sneaking off to the Hideaway behind Shakira's back…' Helena replies: 'Do you not realise that every time I come to the Firepit, I get slam-dunked for his behaviour?' 'But why are you tolerating that?' Emma retorts. 'It's a pattern and you just keep taking him back, he's not worth it.' She adds: 'He thinks he can get away with murder and no offence, you're kind of letting him.'

Irish Love Island star Andrada unrecognisable in resurfaced photos before fame
Love Island star Andrada Pop has had a massive transformation in recent years, as she looks unrecognisable in resurfaced photos. The Dubliner took her place in the main villa on Thursday night's episode after successfully coupling up with Ben Holbrough in Casa Amor. And while the 27-year-old boasts long blonde locks and full pouty lips on-screen, she has had quite the transformation. In 2019, Andrada won Miss Bikini Ireland. In photos posted to Instagram, the beauty can be seen showing off her stunning figure in a purple bikini and white heels after taking the crown. However, she looks very different than she does today as she sported long dark locks and defined eyebrows. In other photos the Irish stunner looks unrecognisable as she poses on the streets of Dublin with her hair scraped back. And the 27-year-old was no stranger to the limelight before she entered the villa. She was quite the Instagram content creator and attended various events, including influencer Aideen Kate's makeup brand launch. Before entering Casa Amor, Andrada worked as a model, influencer, nail technician and a personal trainer. The Dubliner was determined to make it back to the main Love Island villa, and had her eyes on Tommy. However, in Casa Amor she spent most of her time chatting to Dejon Williams and Ben, who she later coupled up with. Speaking before entering the reality show, Andrada said: 'My first instinct is to turn heads. 'I am bold and I do want to get what I want, but I also want to find love, so hopefully the person that I do manage to get on with I can build a nice connection with. I want to find the one. I'm going to come in with a little bit of spice for sure.' Love Island's Andrada Pop: 'I'm Going To Break Up A Couple'
Casa Amor wouldn't be Casa Amor without a few bold characters who aren't afraid to rock the boat and go after what they want. This year that includes Andrada Pop, who seems to be turning Dejon Noel-Williams' head while also sparking up a romance with Ben Holbrough, and it's only been a few days. While it's unclear whether Andrada will bag a permanent spot in the main Love Island villa, she has certainly made in a big impression in a short space of time. Here's everything you need to know about her. Andrada Pop is a model and influencer from Dublin, Ireland, who also works as a nail technician and personal trainer. Naturally, as a Love Islander, she was also 2019's winner of Miss Bikini Ireland. She entered the Love Island villa with Emma Munro (who is Harry Cooksley's ex-girlfriend), Rheo Parnell, Yaz Broom, Lucy Quinn and Lauren Wood. 'My first instinct is to turn heads,' she said before entering the Casa Amor villa. 'I am bold and I do want to get what I want, but I also want to find love, so hopefully the person that I do manage to get on with I can build a nice connection with. I want to find "the one". I'm going to come in with a little bit of spice for sure.' Andrada made it clear that she wasn't afraid of stepping on toes before she entered the villa and she's stuck to her word. 'We're all going in there for ourselves and to find somebody, so it's bound to happen that I break up a couple. That's what I have to do and is what I'm going to do.' Before joining the show she continued, 'There are some boys that are being cheeky and doing a madness, but they have to do that and it's nice to see.' Despite saying her type was Tommy before she entered Casa Amor, Andrada has spent most of her time talking to Ben and Dejon. If things continue to heat up between her and Dejon, it will likely lead to an explosive reunion episode with Megan back in the main villa. Yes! Of course she does. You can follow her on Instagram at @andradapop. Just like her contemporaries, Andrada shares regular bikini pictures and holiday snaps on her feed. Nikki Peach is a writer at Grazia UK, working across entertainment, TV and news. She has also written for the i, i-D and the New Statesman Media Group and covers all things pop culture for Grazia (treating high and lowbrow with equal respect).
