#SHOWBIZ: Aliff Syukri's son says 'no' to matchmake attempt via TikTok
KUALA LUMPUR: Ammar Ahyan, the 17-year-old son of cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri, has rejected his father's attempt to find him a partner via the social media platform TikTok.
In a news report yesterday, Ammar said he would prefer to find "Miss Right" while pursuing his studies at university.
"My father has good intentions, but honestly I don't think it will work," he said in another TikTok video.
"It's always best to get to know your 'Miss Right' up close and personal, and the best place to find her is at university."
Aliff, 38, who also featured in the video, mentioned his plan to offer RM50,000 to his son's future partner, along with a new house and car.
"I'll leave it to Ammar, but once he finds 'Miss Right', this will be my gift to her," he remarked.
Aliff and his wife, Datin Seri Nur Shahida, married in 2007 and have six children: Ammar, Qadejah El Zahra, Ibraheem Adham, Yusoff Al Qardawi, Raudah Arshiyah, and Luqman Al-Hakim.
