"Relationsh*t" Host Kamie Crawford Thinks You Should Stop Manifesting a Rich Partner

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. If you need relationship advice, just ask Kamie Crawford. On her podcast, Relationshit, the 32-year-old fields questions from callers and Instagram DM-ers about dating, friendships, and family—and offers her signature BFF-style guidance in response. On this week's episode of the Marie Claire podcast "Nice Talk", Crawford gives listeners a taste of that wisdom and opens up about her career, from Miss Teen USA to TV host. One topic she doesn't hold back on? People who put 'rich' at the top of their dating wishlist. Crawford says that financial imbalances in relationships are "difficult, very difficult. This is why I tell everyone to stop manifesting a rich man, because that's not going to do anything for you." Instead, the former Catfish host encourages people to manifest something else entirely. "There are a lot of rich people who are very cheap and very close-fisted and will not buy you a damn thing—and will actually put you on an allowance. I've seen it happen. So, I tell everyone to manifest a generous partner." And generosity, she adds, isn't just about money. "Generosity is like—who is this person when I'm six months pregnant and I want an Oreo McFlurry? He's going to go out there and source it for me,' Crawford says. 'He's going to drive 45 minutes, if that's where the next McDonald's is, and he's gonna go get it for me. … Generosity is: I'm folding my laundry, but I'm gonna fold yours too, because it's right here." Of course, generosity can also mean material gifts (beyond McFlurrys). But Crawford warns that if you're only focused on a partner's income, you might not end up with the kind of thoughtfulness you actually want. "Sometimes they're getting you gifts that they like for you. Doesn't mean it's something you actually want,' she says. 'Doesn't mean they're actually paying attention to what you like." While Crawford doesn't believe in manifesting a rich partner, she does think it's fair to look for someone financially responsible. "I've also dated people who were frivolous with money that they maybe didn't have, and you don't want that either," she says. "You also don't want the person who's been working on their business plan for the past 30 years and hasn't made it happen." Crawford learned a lot about relationships during her six years as the co-host of the MTV docuseries Catfish, and from countless conversations with her five sisters and close friends. She sees Relationshit as a natural extension of those chats. "I love to yap. I'm a yapper by nature," the Ex on the Beach presenter says. "I love to talk about these things, and I'm not here pretending like I'm some expert in every single facet of relationships. I didn't study it in school. This is not something that I have a degree in. But the messages that I get from people—all kinds of different people from all different walks of life—saying that listening to you has made me realize my worth, has made me leave that bad relationship, has made me leave that toxic job. I couldn't have imagined that I would have that impact on someone." For more from Crawford—including her advice on making friends as an adult and what competing in pageants is really like—check out this week's installment of "Nice Talk". Did Trump say he entered changing rooms of Miss Teen USA contestants? New pageant post surfaces

Claims that President Donald Trump admitted to entering the changing rooms of Miss Teen USA contestants during his ownership of the pageant (1996–2015) have resurfaced on social media. The claims mainly stem from a 2016 BuzzFeed News report and a 2005 Howard Stern interview. This week several X users brought up Trump's alleged statement. Donald Trump speaks to members of the media on the South Lawn of the White House (Bloomberg) Trump's statements and allegations 2005 Howard Stern Interview: In an April 2005 interview on The Howard Stern Show, Trump, who owned the Miss Universe Organization (including Miss USA and Miss Teen USA), bragged about entering pageant dressing rooms, stating, 'I'll go backstage before a show and everyone's getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant and therefore I'm inspecting it… You know, they're standing there with no clothes… And so I sort of get away with things like that." He was referring to Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, where contestants are 18 or older, not Miss Teen USA. Miss Teen USA Allegations: In 2016, BuzzFeed News reported that five women from the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, including Mariah Billado (former Miss Vermont Teen USA), alleged that Trump entered their dressing room while contestants, some as young as 15, were changing. Billado recalled Trump saying, 'Don't worry, ladies, I've seen it all before." Three others, anonymously, described the incident as 'shocking' and 'creepy,' while a fifth later corroborated. Victoria Hughes (Miss Teen New Mexico 1997) said reports were exaggerated, noting chaperones warned contestants to cover up. Trump Campaign Response: In 2016, Trump's campaign denied the allegations, calling them meritless, but provided no evidence to disprove them. The president has not directly addressed the allegations. A post by @charise_lee this week claims Trump "admittedly stated' on The Howard Stern Show that he entered Miss Teen USA dressing rooms, linking it to #EpsteinCoverUp hashtags. The post includes a link to a video, likely the 2005 Stern interview, but misattributes Trump's quote to Miss Teen USA, not Miss USA or Miss Universe.

Musk Calls for Trump's Impeachment and Implies He Is a Pedophile

Sign up for the Slatest to get the most insightful analysis, criticism, and advice out there, delivered to your inbox daily. Well, people have predicted for a long time that there would be a falling-out between Elon Musk and Donald Trump, two narcissists with a tendency to blame other people for their many self-inflicted problems. And now it's very much happening! The background: Trump is trying to pass his One Big Beautiful Bill Act through Congress, legislation featuring enormous tax cuts that will increase the federal deficit by an estimated $2.4 trillion. Musk, meanwhile, was already moping around about how his work with the Department of Governmental Efficiency had not succeeded in slashing enough money from the federal budget (which is in large part because Musk never really seemed to understand how the United States government works or what it actually spends money on). This week, his frustration boiled over when Musk denounced the Trump budget as 'pork' and demanded that Republicans in Congress refuse to pass it. At what was supposed to be a Thursday press conference about his meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Trump took a moment to address Musk's comments, essentially announcing that the world's richest man was being exiled from the presidential inner circle: In response, Musk threatened to launch a new political party: Trump, responding himself, said Musk had been annoying him for a long time, then threatened to terminate the considerable number of government contracts that benefit Musk's SpaceX company: At this point, things really got quite rude, with Musk implying that Trump took part in the sexual abuse of minors with the late Jeffrey Epstein: To be clear, there is no evidence that this is true, or even that Musk is referring to real, actual files, although it is true that Trump and Epstein were friendly, and that minors who competed in the Miss Teen USA competition complained that Trump walked into their dressing room while they were changing clothes. Musk then retweeted a prominent far-right user who called for Trump to be impeached and replaced by Vice President J.D. Vance, writing, 'yes.' He also said he would 'immediately' begin decommissioning the Dragon space shuttle, which carries astronauts to and from the International Space Station. Could be bad news for the four astronauts who are up there now. No response to any of this from the president, although right-wing nationalist Steve Bannon—who has always been suspicious of Musk's foreign birth and ties to international corporate capital—is calling for him to be deported (and, honestly, with this administration, is anything out of the question here?). Look, the record of Donald Trump's second term so far is one of illegal overreach, naked corruption, and dalliance with catastrophe. Its lasting effects could include the end of the United States' primacy in world affairs and the permanent kneecapping of its prosperity. The qualities that for hundreds of years have made the U.S. a destination for the world's brightest and hardest-working strivers are being destroyed by men and women whose unfamiliarity with the subjects under their control is matched only by their history of being into weird Nazi stuff online. Trump himself seems to be getting mentally slower and often appears unfamiliar with actions taken by his own government. It's bad stuff. On the other hand, this—today—is all pretty funny. Unless you're an astronaut.

Liam Payne Death Case: Charges Against Friend, Hotel Staff Dropped

Originally appeared on E! Online There is an update on who might be held responsible for Liam Payne's death. Five months after the One Direction alum suffered a fatal fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires while intoxicated, three of five individuals charged in relation to his death have had their charges dropped, per Rolling Stone, citing a ruling from Argentina's Court of Appeals. The first is Payne's friend , who, along with hotel staff Gilda Martin and Esteban Grassi, had been charged with negligent homicide. Following the ruling, Nores told Rolling Stone, 'Glad this is finally over. I'm happy I'm now going to be able to travel to the UK and say goodbye to my friend.' In the ruling, per the outlet, the judges said Nores was not responsible for Payne 'obtaining and consuming alcohol,' nor could he have prevented Payne's death. While acknowledging Nores could have potentially stopped Payne from obtaining substances if he had stayed with Payne all night, the judges conceded, 'It cannot be ruled out that, even if he had taken those extreme precautions… that [Payne] would have managed to obtain the substances anyway, as is common among addicts, even when they are under the loving care of their family.' 'Despite accusing Nores of failing to communicate and raise alarms with the victim's family,' the ruling reads, 'they remained silent about the email through which the accused had expressed his concerns and warned that he would not be able to look after Payne's health.' E! News has reached out to Payne's dad as well as Nores for comment but has not yet heard back. Meanwhile, hotel manager Martin and receptionist Grassi—who were charged after bringing an intoxicated Payne back to his room only for him to later fall from the balcony—were likewise cleared after judges ruled, per Rolling Stone, there was insufficient evidence that the pair acted in 'thoughtless, reckless, or merely negligent behavior.' The ruling notes of the three individuals, the 'formation of this case does not affect their good name and honor.' Two additional hotel workers, Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Paiz—who were charged with supplying cocaine to Payne—remain behind bars, per Rolling Stone, and await trial. E!
