Actors Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Pooja Hegde are soaking up the scenic beauty of Manali on a fun-filled getaway. Ishaan took to social media to share glimpses of their trip to the hill station, but it was his playful bromance with Siddhant that truly stole the spotlight. Even their Phone Bhoot co-star Katrina Kaif couldn't resist reacting to the pictures. On Saturday, Ishaan dropped a series of photos on Instagram capturing moments from his trip with Pooja and Siddhant. In the first photo, Siddhant and Ishaan are seen sitting on a hillside, laughing heartily. The second picture shows Ishaan flaunting his six-pack abs while looking at Siddhant's phone. In another, Pooja poses for a selfie with the boys against a jungle backdrop. One more picture shows Ishaan photographing Siddhant and posing with a group of children. A post shared by Ishaan (@ishaankhatter) Sharing the pictures, Ishaan captioned the post: 'Manali shanali with @siddhantchaturvedi @hegdepooja 🏔️🍑 Rains, roads and realness, but a fun adventure – no thanks to traffic.' Katrina Kaif commented on the post, calling the trio 'cutiess.' Fans were delighted by the easy camaraderie between Siddhant and Ishaan. One comment read, 'We'd love to see more of the bromance between you and Sidd, with Pooja seeming like the third wheel.' Another said, 'It's giving Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani vibes.' A third added, 'The best bromance,' while one fan joked, 'Ishaan and Siddhant should star in a romcom.' Ishaan's recent film Homebound, also starring Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor, was screened at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and received a nine-minute standing ovation, leaving the cast, director Neeraj Ghaywan, and producer Karan Johar in tears. He also has Netflix series The Royals season 2 in pipeline. Siddhant is currently gearing up for the release of Dhadak 2, also produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film, co-starring Triptii Dimri, is scheduled to hit cinemas on 1 August. Pooja, on the other hand, has the Bollywood film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in the pipeline, alongside Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is slated for release in 2026. She also has Vijay's Jana Nayagan coming up.

Miss Somalia's emotional journey: A survivor's stand against female genital mutilation
Standing on the Miss World 2025 stage, Zainab Jama, Miss Somalia, delivered a deeply emotional testimony that moved many to tears. Speaking during the 'Head-to-Head' challenge, Jama recounted being forced to undergo female genital mutilation (FGM) at the age of seven. Her story, painfully detailed and courageously told, highlighted a tradition that continues to harm millions of girls around the world. Now living in the United Kingdom, Jama is using her platform to advocate for the end of this brutal practice. FGM encompasses procedures that involve the partial or total removal of the external female genitalia. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 230 million girls and women alive today have been subjected to FGM, with more than four million girls at risk each year. Born in Somalia, Jama grew up as a refugee, fleeing her homeland due to conflict and climate crises. After resettling with her family in the UK, she rebuilt her life—but the trauma of her past remained. 'I'm the founder of the Female Initiative Foundation, a project to bond from one of the darkest moments of my life,' she told the audience. 'I stand here today, not just as a voice for the voiceless, but as a survivor of female genital mutilation.' Jama described the sense of powerlessness she felt as a child, remembering the moment her body and rights were taken away in the name of tradition. With a voice trembling from emotion, she recalled, 'I was seven years old. I was outside, playing with my friends. When I was picked up, my clothes were ripped off, and I was taken to a room where three women waited with blades, scissors and old tools.' None of them were medically trained. The procedure was carried out without anaesthesia. 'They told me to be quiet, to be brave and proud—because this was our tradition,' she said. Once the cutting was complete, her skin was stitched together with thick thread, leaving a small opening barely enough for urine or menstrual blood to pass through.

Miss World 2025: South Africa's Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg remains upbeat after early exit
Despite showcasing the qualities of a well-rounded global ambassador, Jansen van Rensburg did not make it into the top 40. Despite falling short of expectations at the Miss World 2025 finale in India, South Africa's Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg has emerged with her head held high and her spirit unshaken. At just 19, the Pretoria-born model and youth advocate represented her country with poise and passion, winning hearts with her intelligence and purpose-driven vision, even if she didn't walk away with the crown. Jansen van Rensburg had been in India for nearly a month leading up to the 72nd Miss World pageant. Her advocacy platform, 'Never Too Young to Advocate', had impressed judges at the national level in South Africa, earning her the title of Miss World South Africa in October 2024. The digital project she leads is centred on empowering youth through education, representation, and activism. Its core pillars: educate, graduate, and advocate, aim to equip young people with tools to be heard and recognised in meaningful spaces. Her passion project was developed long before the Miss World pageant, and according to organisers, she remained actively involved in youth-centred charity work during her time in India. Despite showcasing the qualities of a well-rounded global ambassador, Jansen van Rensburg did not make it into the top 40. The Miss World title ultimately went to Opal Suchata from Thailand, a result that surprised some South African pageant fans who had closely followed Zoalize's journey. Nevertheless, she remains optimistic about her future. On an Instagram post she posted shortly after the finale she said; 'I can't wait to come back to our beautiful country. 'I see all your messages, I feel all your love, and I appreciate you all. We might not have gotten the result we expected, but never let this break our spirit.'

Life's a bliss: Thai Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata just loves to be foodie when she is enjoying a holiday
There comes a time to relax especially after coming out tops from a world class beauty pageant. And according to media reports, Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand, who was crowned Miss World 2025 last week, enjoys staying at luxury resorts surrounded by nature and exploring food tours. And when allowed in her free time - it is food, glorious food that makes the beauty a very happy girl indeed. In fact, before entering beauty pageants, Chuangsri frequently shared moments from travel adventures and food tours on her social media channel with more than 800,000 followers. Suchata, 21, is a political science student at Thammasat University. She previously held the title Miss Universe Thailand 2024 and placed third runner-up at Miss Universe 2024. She is the first Thai woman to win the title in Miss World's 72-year history. Recenly in March this year, she had also took a vacation to Japan. She first stayed in Shinjuku, one of Tokyo's busiest districts, known for its vibrant dining, shopping, and entertainment scene. Later, she and her mother traveled to Nagoya, a major city in central Japan. She enjoyed Tendon, a beloved and flavorful Japanese rice dish. The name combines Tenpura (tempura) and Donburi (rice bowl). It features a serving of white rice topped with crispy tempura - typically shrimp and vegetables - drizzled with a sweet and savory sauce that soaks into both the tempura and the rice, enhancing the dish's rich flavor. In January 2024, she celebrated New Year's Eve in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Besides shopping, she spent most of her time exploring the local cuisine. During the trip, she sampled a variety of Korean culinary specialties, including seaweed soup, bulgogi, seafood pancakes, kimchi, and kimchi stew, and also enjoyed soju - the country's national liquor. In addition, she also tried live octopus for the first time, a dish known for testing the bravery of even the most adventurous diners. For the record, Suchata is also well know in Thailand as she also has been actively promoting domestic tourism. In April, she took on the role of Tungsathewi, the Songkran goddess, during the Thai New Year water festival. Dressed in traditional attire and riding a flower-adorned palanquin, she was warmly welcomed by the public. Chuangsri often opts for domestic resorts when traveling. In February, she visited the Four Seasons Resort in Koh Samui, a picturesque tropical island off Thailand's southern east coast, known for its white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush coconut groves. Koh Samui is also home to numerous high-end resorts that meet international standards, offering modern amenities and world-class service. Visitors can enjoy private ocean-view villas, unwind at luxury spas, and savor gourmet cuisine in romantic, scenic settings. In October 2024, Chuangsri and her friends vacationed in Phuket and visited the oceanfront Café Del Mar Phuket. As Thailand's largest island, Phuket is renowned for its beaches, from the lively shores of Patong to the tranquil stretches of Kata and Karon, along with its dramatic limestone cliffs and the emerald waters of the Andaman Sea. Two of her favorite dishes are suyuk - tender, melt-in-your-mouth boiled or steamed pork served with fresh kimchi, pickled radish, raw garlic, green chili peppers, and dipped in savory ssamjang bean paste - and sundae, a traditional Korean sausage made from pork intestine stuffed with glass noodles, glutinous rice, pig's blood, and vegetables. Sundae is typically served with salt and pepper or spicy tteokbokki and is a beloved street food as well as a staple in everyday Korean meals.
