Silver alert issued for man, 85, last seen in downtown Winnipeg early Friday
A silver alert has been issued for an 85-year-old man last seen in downtown Winnipeg early Friday morning. Joseph Paul, 85, was last seen near Fort Street and St. Mary Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Friday, police said in a missing alert. Paul is described as six feet tall with a thin build, balding grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap with a white triangle on the front of it, as well as a dark blue fleece jacket with a white collared shirt and white-soled sneakers. Anyone with information on Paul's whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg police missing persons unit at 204-986-6250. Silver alerts are issued when vulnerable adults go missing.

Missing man last seen in West End on Wednesday, Winnipeg police say
Winnipeg police are asking the public for help in locating a 27-year-old man who hasn't been heard from since late Wednesday. Hendrix Ojo was last heard from at 11:30 p.m. on July 16 on Denson Place, north of Portage Avenue between St. Matthews and Portage avenues in the West End. Ojo is six feet two inches tall, with a thin build, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing grey dress pants and a white graphic T-shirt, police said in a missing person alert Friday afternoon. Anyone with information about Ojo's location is asked to call the Winnipeg Police Service's missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.

De'Mariana Johnson was last seen near 37th Street and Askew Avenue on Tuesday at 1 a.m. According to police, she is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. Missing man last seen in St. Boniface in late 2023, say Winnipeg police
Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help to locate a 54-year-old man who hasn't been seen in over a year and a half. Allan Childs was last seen in the city's St. Boniface area in November 2023 but was only reported missing recently, the Winnipeg Police Service stated in a missing person alert Monday afternoon. He is described as five feet seven inches tall with a thin build. He has short blond hair, a blond goatee and blue eyes, say police. Winnipeg police seek information about missing man
Winnipeg police are seeking the public's assistance as the search continues for a 24-year-old man who has not been seen or heard from since Wednesday. Jayden Poetker, 24, was last seen on July 9 at 7:55 p.m. in the Polo Park area, said a Winnipeg police news release. Police said they are concerned about Poetker's well-being. He is described as five feet seven inches tall, with a thin build, blond hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hat, black T-shirt, black shorts and black shoes. He drives a 2005 red Toyota Tacoma double cab V6 pickup truck with Manitoba licence plate KWN 729, police said.
