Updates From Apple WWDC Keynote
For consumers, the biggest new AI features coming this year will be:
Translate -- which launched as an app on iPhones in 2020 -- becoming a system-level feature and part of the Apple Intelligence brand. The Google Translate competitor will live-translate phone calls, live conversations via AirPods and text messages.
Generative Shortcuts -- a revamped Shortcuts app that will allow consumers to create their own shortcuts using generative AI and text-based inputs.
Mixmoji -- a new feature to create a Genmoji by combining two existing emojis. For example, a user could choose a trash can and a basketball and mix them together to create a single Genmoji of a basketball inside of a trash can.
