Tuks Senganga and Mo Molemi unite for the Black Tie tour, a celebration of classy, conscious hip-hop
Two of Mzansi's most respected Motswako pioneers, Tuks Senganga and Mo Molemi, are teaming up for a nationwide artistic experience like no other — the Mo & Tuks Black Tie Tour.
The pair will host their Black Tie Second Edition on July 5 at Untitled Basement in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
Marking more than 20 years in the game, this 'Afro-formal' tour isn't just about the music; it's a full celebration of culture, consciousness and African creativity.
It pays homage to the classic albums that helped define a genre: Mafoko A Me, Maru A Pula, and HHP's iconic YBA2NW, where Mo Molemi made his lyrical debut.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Tuks said he describes the tour as 'culture meeting class'. The Black Tie Tour blends storytelling, poetry, live instrumentation and visually immersive performances in intimate venues such as theatres, galleries and lounges.
'Expect more than bars, expect meaning, Mo Molemi's introspective flow and my lyrical fire promise to bridge generations with music that resonates on every level.'
Audiences are invited to dress Afro-formal and experience hip-hop like never before, refined, intentional and deeply African.
