Salma Abu Deif Lands New TV Role
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Salma Abu Deif will be returning to the small screen very soon. Abu Deif has landed her next TV role in a new 15-episode drama from scriptwriter Mohamed Soliman Abdel Malek. She made her latest appearance on the small screen in the 2024 TV series "Aala Nesbet Moshahda" (Highest Viewership). The cast also includes Mohamed Mahmoud, Mohamed Shahin, Ahmed Fahim, Entesar, Layla Ahmed Zaher, and more. The series consists of 15 episodes and was screened during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon. Moreover, Abu Deif is reuniting with Ahmed Dawood in 'Azma,' a film based on iconic author Mohamed Sadek's 2020 novel, which has been a bestseller for years. Rising actress Jessica Hossam Eldin is also set to star in the pic. The adaptation marks the third collaboration between Abu Deif and Dawood after the 2020 TV series 'Zienhom' and the 2022 high-end Arabic remake of 'Suits'. It is scripted by Sadek, who will make his feature directorial debut with the upcoming project, and is set to be produced by Hany Osama's The Producers. Abu Deif will be seen next in the long-awaited sequel to ' Hepta: The Last Lecture '. The pic also stars Mohamed Mamdouh, Menna Shalaby, Karim Fahmy, Asmaa Galal, Karim Kassem, Mayan El Sayed, Hassan Malek, and Gihan El Shamashergy. Prominent director Hady El Bagory and screenwriter Mohamed Sadek reunited for a sequel. The script is penned from a story by Sadek, who co-wrote the pic alongside Mohamed Galal. Born on February 2, 1993, Abu Deif began her acting career at age 20 as an editorial model whilst attaining a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at Misr International University. She also studied at Stella Adler acting studio in New York for the summer Conservatory. In 2017, Abu Deif made her first television appearance as an actress in two of the biggest TV Ramadan series, "Halawet EL Donia" and "Lah Totfea EL Shams". Shortly after, Abu Deif made her first film appearance in the critically acclaimed Egyptian film 'Sheikh Jackson' that has taken part in numerous International Film Festivals around the world, garnering international attention for the impressive, yet controversial nature of the film. Salma Abu Deif, Jessica Hossam El-Din Join the Star-Studded Cast of Ezma
Rising stars Salma Abu Deif and Jessica Hossam El-Din have officially joined the cast of Ezma, a highly anticipated film led by actor Ahmed Dawood and marking the directorial debut of celebrated writer Mohamed Sadek. Known for his bestselling novels and successful screenplays, Sadek steps behind the camera for the first time with this cinematic adaptation. Based on his hit 2020 novel Ezma—a long-time chart-topper in Egypt and across the Arab world—the story follows 36-year-old Eissa, whose life takes a dramatic turn after receiving a mysterious birthday gift from an unexpected sender. The Cast of Hepta 2 Celebrates Wrapping Up the Shoot
Eight years after the first part of 'Hepta: The Last Lecture' was released, the second part of the film titled 'Hepta: Al Monazra Al Akheera' (Hepta: The Last Debate) which discusses new perspectives on love and its challenges, will be released soon. The film was written by Mohamed Sadek, with screenplay and dialogue by Mohamed Galal and Mohamed Sadek, in cooperation with Nourhan Abu Bakr, and directed by Hady El Bagouri. A group of stars will participate in the movie including Menna Shalaby, Mohamed Mamdouh, Salma Abu Deif, Karim Kassem, Mayan Al-Sayed, and Hassan Malek.

Ahmed Dawoud & Ahmed Dash Join Forces in Ezma
Egyptian stars Ahmed Dawood and Ahmed Dash are on a roll, diving into a new cinematic collaboration titled 'Ezma', based on the acclaimed novel by Mohamed Sadek. In a major creative shift, Mohamed Sadek, best known for his literary successes, will make his directorial debut with this film. Producer Hani Osama confirmed that both Dawood and Dash have officially signed on. Filming will begin soon once final preparations and casting are complete. Originally published in 2020, 'Ezma' has the haunting tagline: 'Nine commands. Nine treasures. Find me.' The story follows Eissa, who, on his 36th birthday and after a brutal battle with life that leaves him utterly defeated, receives a mysterious gift from the last person he'd expect. The gift forces him to alter the course of his life entirely. Having lost his passion and sense of self, Eissa embarks on a soul-searching journey filled with challenges, self-discovery, and deep emotional trials—only to realize that to move forward, he must face his darkest fears.
