TCS Group Holdings Bhd has proposed to place out up to 10% of its total issued shares to third-party investors to be identified to raise as much as RM8.5mn, primarily for working capital in four ongoing construction projects. TH Plantations Bhd, the plantation arm of Lembaga Tabung Haji, on Friday issued show cause letters to both its chief executive officer Mohamed Zainurin Mohamed Zain and chief financial officer Marliyana Omar due to alleged unauthorised payments totalling RM5.1mn made to plantation workers. TH Plantations Bhd (THP) CEO Mohamed Zainurin Mohamed Zain and CFO Marliyana Omar have been served with show cause letters, relating to alleged unauthorised payments of RM5.1 million made to plantation workers. Zainurin has also been placed on garden leave commencing from the date of issuance of the show cause letter until further notice, the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

The CEO has also been placed on garden leave commencing from the date of issuance of the show cause letter until further notice, the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today. Marliyana, however, has chosen to tender her resignation with immediate effect, it added. "The company shall continue its business as usual. In the interim, the functions of the CEO shall be assumed by a temporary board committee known as the board executive committee (board exco) of THP, until further notice,' it said. PETALING JAYA: TH Plantations Bhd announced its chief executive officer (CEO), Mohamed Zainurin Mohamed Zain, has been served with a show cause letter today relating to alleged unauthorised payments of RM5.1mil made to plantation workers. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the plantation group concern noted that he has been placed on garden leave until further notice.
