Million-man march in Capital declares steadfastness with Gaza, readiness to confront aggression
Sana'a - Saba: The capital Sana'a witnessed a million-man march on Friday, demonstrating support for the Palestinian people and affirming continued steadfastness under the slogan "Steadfast with Gaza, Readiness and Mobilization to Confront Aggression." The massive crowds, waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanting slogans of jihad and resistance, declared their commitment to ongoing mobilization, deployment, and readiness for direct confrontation with the enemy and to wage the "Promised Victory and Holy Jihad" battle. Participants stressed that any escalation by the criminal Zionist enemy would not deter the Yemeni people from their firm and supportive stance for the Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Instead, it would strengthen their resolve to continue this righteous position until the aggression is halted and the siege lifted. The assembled masses praised the resilience and heroic epics written by the Palestinian resistance heroes in the Gaza Strip against the Israeli enemy entity, which is supported by the U.S. and the West. They condemned the international community's silence and complicity regarding the Israeli enemy's genocidal crimes, siege, and systematic starvation of the Palestinian people. The crowds reiterated their call for the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to support their brethren in Gaza and Palestine, defend Islamic holy sites that are constantly violated by Zionist hordes, and confront the Zionist-American project targeting the nations' peoples. Throughout the march, the participants chanted slogans disavowing the enemies of Allah, His Messenger, and Muslims, shouting phrases like: "For Israel, we shouted death, and emphasized it with our loud voices," "From Gaza, for the sake of Allah, and Jihad in the path of Allah," "The occupier annihilated and committed crimes, and the civilized West supports," "Our nation is the primary responsible party for Gaza, no matter how much it disclaims responsibility," "The criminal acts in Al-Aqsa persist due to the silence of two billion Muslims," "Allah will only humble our enemies through our hands in war," and "There is no solution but fighting, and Israel shall perish." The crowds also cried out: "Rise up, honorable people of the world, Gaza's tragedy is escalating," "If they mobilize, we will increase our determination, with readiness and mobilization," "In Gaza, there are men of Allah, a miracle in valor," "O Gaza, O soldiers of Allah, we are with you until we meet Allah," "Jihad, Jihad, the whole nation is ready," "O Gaza, O Palestine, all Yemenis are with you," and "We have mandated you, O our leader, we have mandated you." A statement issued by the march, delivered by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Supreme Committee for Supporting Al-Aqsa, scholar Mohammed Miftah, clarified that before the eyes and ears of hundreds of millions of Arabs, Muslims, and the entire world, the criminal Zionist enemy—with full American and Western participation—continues the most heinous crimes of genocide against the Muslim Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and all of Palestine, for twenty-one months. The statement affirmed that the Zionist enemy continues its violations and crimes against Al-Aqsa Mosque and all holy sites, working with malice and arrogance to impose a policy of absolute impunity against all peoples of the region. It highlighted that in response to Almighty Allah, and as jihad in His path, seeking His pleasure, the Yemeni people continue their weekly million-man turnout in support of the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people, with steadfastness, determination, readiness, and mobilization to confront any aggression, trusting in Allah, confident in His promise, victory, and support. The statement strongly condemned the continued silence of most Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the horrific crimes, major massacres, and various genocidal acts of killing, starvation, and destruction perpetrated by the Zionist and American enemy against the people of Gaza. It also condemned the global silence, complicity, and inaction, considering the deceptive verbal stances that lack any effective action, which encourage the enemy to continue its crimes, confident that none of these parties will take any action, even if the entire Palestinian people are annihilated, or Al-Aqsa Mosque is demolished and all holy sites are desecrated. The statement noted that this dangerous situation, which the nation has reached, has unfortunately become a real and actual threat to its present and future in this world and the hereafter, and Allah is the Helper. The statement affirmed the Yemeni people's weekly million-man turnout as a response to divine command and a sincere jihad in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, demonstrating unwavering resolve and readiness for any aggression. It strongly condemned the ongoing silence of most Arab and Islamic regimes regarding these atrocities, as well as global silence and deceptive verbal stances that lack impactful action, which embolden the enemy. The Yemeni people, the statement asserted, guided by their wise leadership and Quranic project, will not waver from their steadfast support for Gaza and Palestine, undeterred by Zionist and American threats. "We are ready for any escalation," the statement declared, emphasizing that patience, jihad, steadfastness, and preparation are core to Yemeni culture, believing that "the outcome of all affairs rests with Allah." The statement concluded by praising the legendary heroism of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, noting their unwavering resilience despite immense sacrifices as an inspiring model that submission to enemies is never justified by limited resources. It urged Arab and Muslim peoples and regimes to boycott Israeli and American companies supporting the criminal Zionist entity, deeming it an effective, accessible weapon and a fundamental obligation before Allah. Sana'a - Saba: The General Authority of Zakat launched on Wednesday the eighth phase of the cash crop distribution project under the slogan "Food and Sufficiency," targeting 10,000 poor families. At the launch, First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah congratulated the Zakat Authority on the launch of the project, which coincides with Eid al-Adha, especially since part of the project covers Eid requirements for poor families, including honey, almonds, raisins, sesame, coffee, and other crops. Miftah pointed out that the project is a bounty and blessing from Yemen, thanks to the efforts of farmers and producers and the efforts of Zakat Authority employees, reaching the poor and needy. He noted the launch of the project and the preceding packaging, roasting, and distribution of cash crop baskets to the poor, bringing joy to their hearts. Sheikh Miftah urged those in charge of the Zakat Authority to investigate and ensure that Zakat is delivered to those most in need. For his part, Ali al-Saqqaf, Deputy Director of the Zakat Authority, praised the farmers' initiative to pay their Zakat on cash crops, a right God Almighty has enjoined upon the poor, out of their good will, and hand it over to the Zakat Authority for distribution to those who deserve it. He stated that the project stems from the efforts of the Authority's staff and the farmers' initiative to distribute 10,000 baskets at a cost of 400 million riyals, with each basket costing 40,000 riyals. The basket benefits 10,000 beneficiaries, including poor families, people with special needs, thalassemia patients, war wounded and disabled, and members of African communities.
