Bahrain Concludes Successful Participation at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025
Ministerial Highlights:
Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, joined a session on the global energy market, where he shared Bahrain's efforts toward a balanced and sustainable energy mix.
Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, emphasized Bahrain's support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) during a panel on national development strategies and took part in the Russia–Bahrain Business Dialogue.
Sara Buhiji, CEO of BTEA, participated in a panel discussing tourism workforce development, underlining Bahrain's investment in human capital and international cooperation in the hospitality sector.
Additionally, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, joined a thought-provoking panel on cultural heritage and identity titled 'Architecture of Memory.'
Bahrain's participation in SPIEF 2025 not only strengthened its bilateral ties with Russia but also laid the groundwork for future economic growth, innovation, and international partnerships. The forum highlighted Bahrain's ambition to position itself as a regional leader in sustainable development, cultural diplomacy, and global investment.
