Molotof Drops Dual-Version Single ‘قانون اللعبة

Molotof Drops Dual-Version Single 'قانون اللعبة | RISK' Egyptian producer Molotof returns with 'قانون اللعبة | RISK', a two-version single that marks a pivotal shift in his musical identity. Known for pioneering the sonic blueprint dubbed Molowave, this release positions him as a narrator threading emotion, memory, and rebellion through rhythm. The first version flips Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters' into a rap-laced rework. Arabic instruments like the qanun and kawala weave through his bars, grounding the Western classic in a Middle Eastern vibe. The second version arrives entirely original - a cinematic fusion of heavy drums, spectral synths, and Cairo grit. Both versions sit under the same lyrical umbrella: a raw, Arabic-language manifesto on artistic defiance and inner power. Lines like: ‎'انا مش بنتمي لعالم صوتي هو الجسر / فارد جنحاتي صقر / برمي الزهر و مش مستني اشق البحر' channel a sonic and spiritual liberation. With 'RISK', Molotof invites us into a dual universe - one where East meets West, and every sound carries intention. 'This is the game now,' he says. 'I'm not afraid to take the risk. I didn't want to remake a song. I wanted to show that one track can live in two worlds.'

Molotof Taps Into His Ultras Roots With New Track 'ULTRUS'

In his new single, Molotof reflects on resistance and resilience, channeling the spirit of Egypt's ultras and street art in his return to the rap game. Jun 19, 2025 Cairo-based producer and rapper Molotof continues his long-awaited rap comeback with a new track that doubles as a personal manifesto. Raw, direct, and steeped in history, 'ULTRUS' reflects Molotof's years of resistance, both in sound and spirit. Returning to his lyrical roots, Molotof uses this track to speak directly to the forces that tried to silence him. But instead of backing down, he leans into the legacy that shaped him: Egypt's street art movement, the enduring presence of the ultras, and the unspoken codes of loyalty and rebellion that run through both. The track bristles with energy, its production carrying a charged minimalism that lets the lyrics hit harder. 'They fought me,' Molotof says, 'but I kept going—because my weapons are different.' Those weapons, he explains, are the values, visions, and collective memory forged during his time in the streets, when 'Molotof' was more than just a name, it was a signal. His message is clear: the past isn't something to escape, it's a source of strength. With this release, Molotof stays grounded in the codes that made him, and proves that resistance, when honest, always finds new form.

Molotof Debuts as Vocalist on Self-Made Project ‘Saradeeb'

The Egyptian producer steps into the spotlight with a raw track written, performed, and filmed by himself. May 28, 2025 Egyptian producer Molotof, the sonic force behind landmark trap cuts from Wegz and Marwan Pablo, is stepping into a new role with 'Saradeeb', a fully self-written, performed, and produced track that doubles as his vocal debut. Known for fusing hip-hop, folklore, and electronic music, Molotof now distills his sound into something more personal. 'Saradeeb' offers a raw vision of modern Egyptian art through his own voice. 'This isn't just a one-track moment,' Molotof tells SceneNoise. 'I have a whole phase of songs like this, all sung by me, that I've been reconstructing from old vaults.' True to the title (Arabic for 'basements'), 'Saradeeb' dives into darker, more internal spaces, a world built entirely by Molotof. The accompanying black-and-white video, shot and edited by the artist himself, mirrors this stripped-down intensity with stark visuals and confined frames.

El Masreyeen & Molotof Team Up: A Generational Sound Collision

Hani Shenouda and El Masreyeen join forces with Molotof to fuse Egypt's musical legacy with its underground future. May 20, 2025 Something is cooking in the studio: a rare collaboration between two distinct musical worlds. Hani Shenouda and his iconic band El Massrieen are teaming up with Molotof, Cairo's groundbreaking producer known for reshaping mahraganat and electronic music. For decades, El Massrieen shaped the sound of modern Egypt with their melodic, richly arranged pop. Shenouda's compositions gave Arabic music a modern edge. Molotof, meanwhile, has carved a path through Cairo's underground with collaborations with the biggest artists in the scene like Marwan Pablo, Wegz, and Ziad Zaza. 'This song is a reimagined track from El Massrieen,' Molotof shares. 'I'm going to be producing it and giving a twist to Hany Shenouda's iconic music.' But beyond the production, this collaboration merges the creative energies of two generations, each rooted in a different chapter of Egypt's musical evolution. 'I loved working with him, and with Mona from El Massrieen who is going to be singing,' Molotof continues. 'It's a collaboration between generations. I've loved their work for ages, they always blend music from the West and the East with a new twist, and it felt relevant to me.' 'I'm so happy and honoured with this collaboration, it's gonna be a surprise,' he adds. 'I loved hanging out with Hany, he's so funny and open to new ideas.' Together, they're reworking what Egyptian musical history sounds like in the now.
