Parliament Monsoon Session 2025 Day 2: The second day of the Parliament Monsoon Session 2025 will convene at 11 am. Day 1 session witnessed continued disruptions in both the Houses, with opposition parties demanding a discussion on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. The Opposition's protests led to the adjournment of both houses. The Rajya Sabha passed the Bills of Lading Bill, 2025, aimed at updating and simplifying the legal framework governing shipping documents. The Lok Sabha has already passed the legislation in March this year. According to news agency ANI, the INDIA bloc leaders will raise Bihar's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) issue in the Parliament on Tuesday, as per the sources. A protest will also be held at the Makar Dwar of the Parliament at 10 AM. Meanwhile, Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday resigned as the Vice President of India, citing health reasons. Dhankhar presided over the Rajya Sabha as the Chairman on the first day of the Monsoon Session of the Parliament and addressed the House at length over the impeachment of High Court judge Yashwant Sinha. This monsoon session will span from July 21 to August 21, encompassing 21 sittings over 32 days. Both Houses of Parliament will be adjourned from August 12 to August 17 to facilitate Independence Day celebrations, and will reconvene on August 18.
