Zenvo Aurora Reveals An Even Prettier Look For Its Goodwood Reveal
Zenvo's Monster Twins Are Getting Tweaked At Monterey Car Week 2023, Danish automaker Zenvo revealed the new Aurora hypercar, and ahead of its debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the company has revealed some subtle changes to its design. Like the Keonigsegg Jesko twins, half of the Aurora's production run of 100 cars will be reserved for a track-focused, RWD Agil model, while the other half is for the AWD (and more powerful) Tur variant, which is meant to be a more comfortable cruiser. Zenvo has yet to show the changes as they translate to the former, which we'll likely see this weekend at Goodwood, so for now, let's see how the Tur has changed. You may need to squint. Subtle Changes Are Tough To Spot Zenvo didn't detail the changes, but closer inspection reveals a slightly altered front fascia where mesh now covers the grille openings, the hood has been reshaped, and the ends of the headlamps are now underpinned by more body-color material. At the rear, the diffuser is now larger and more curved, and the license plate holder has moved further down. It also looks like the rear deck has been extended slightly, which should further improve aerodynamic efficiency. McLaren's LT models and Koenigsegg's new Sadair's Spear have used this subtle change to great effect, but Zenvo has not updated any of the performance claims it initially made. Not that it needs to – the Aurora boasts some impressive numbers. Two Experiences To Choose From, Neither Of Which Is Cheap Whether you choose an Agil or a Tur, you get a quad-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 that revs to a frankly absurd 9,800 rpm and delivers 1,250 horsepower all on its own. This MAHLE-developed engine (called Mjølner) is the most powerful production V12 on the planet. Choose the Agil, and Zenvo fits an electric motor to the rear axle, adding another 200 ponies to the horsepower claim, but if you go for the touring variant, Zenvo puts a pair of electric motors on the front axle instead, giving the Tur AWD and a whopping 1,850 hp. Each take on the Aurora will provide its own experience, even if you take the aero out of the equation. The Agil claims 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 227 mph, while the slipperier Tur gets to 62 mph in 2.3 seconds and keeps going until 280 mph. On the track, the Agil should wipe the floor with the faster car, thanks to 1,940 lbs of downforce at 155 mph and 331 lbs less weight (2,866 in the Agil versus 3,197 in the Tur). Zenvo expects to begin deliveries of its $2.8 million Aurora in 2026, after which it intends to launch a smaller hypercar that will be a relative bargain at $2 million. Ferrari unveils Daytona SP3 Tailor Made for charity auction at Monterey Car Week
Ferrari has revealed a one-off Daytona SP3 to be auctioned by RM Sotheby's during Monterey Car Week in California this August. Created through the Italian carmaker's Tailor Made customisation programme, this unique model features a striking two-tone livery in carbon fibre/Giallo Modena with glossy black elements on the front splitter, side sills and rear diffuser. A full-length Ferrari logotype (also in Giallo Modena) is applied across the upper body, marking the first time the brand has used its logo in this way. The interior features an innovative fabric made from recycled tyres bearing the distinctive Prancing Horse motif, while the dashboard and steering column are constructed from the same lightweight carbon fibre used in Formula 1, underscoring the car's connection to Ferrari's racing heritage. Powered by a 6.5 l naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 618kW and 697Nm, the car carries the designation 599+1, acknowledging it as an extra addition to the sold-out 599-unit run of the Daytona SP3. A bespoke plaque will be fitted to commemorate its singular status. All proceeds from the auction will go to The Ferrari Foundation in support of educational initiatives. Among its recent projects is a partnership with Save the Children, which includes helping rebuild the Aveson Charter School in Altadena, California, after it was destroyed by the Eaton wildfire earlier this year.

One-Off Peralta S Supercar to Make U.S. Debut at Monterey Motorsports Festival
Read the full story on Modern Car Collector The highly anticipated Peralta S supercar is set to make its exclusive U.S. debut during this year's Monterey Motorsports Festival, a highlight of Monterey Car Week. Designed by famed Italian design house GFG Style, the one-off vehicle will appear publicly for just one day, marking its only scheduled American showing. The Peralta S was conceived for Mexican businessman Carlos Peralta and represents the first bespoke commission from GFG Style. Founded by legendary automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and his son Fabrizio Giugiaro, the firm blends cutting-edge engineering with stylistic references to its influential design legacy. Built atop the Maserati MC20 platform, the Peralta S retains the MC20's 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine, pushing 612 horsepower to the rear wheels in a mid-engine layout. However, its aesthetics depart sharply from its Maserati roots. The exterior design pays homage to the iconic 1972 Maserati Boomerang concept, also penned by Giugiaro. The Peralta S features a dramatic wedge shape, sharp body lines, and a unique front-hinged canopy that replaces traditional doors. The single sweeping windshield lifts upward for entry, evoking retro-futuristic prototypes of decades past. 'This car is a dialogue between heritage and innovation,' said Fabrizio Giugiaro in a statement ahead of the festival. 'It channels the spirit of my father's pioneering designs while using modern materials and performance capabilities.' Since its initial unveiling in Mexico earlier this year, the Peralta S has drawn international attention. Its showing at the Monterey Motorsports Festival, which attracts collectors, designers, and automakers from around the globe, will be the only U.S. viewing opportunity. With Car Week poised to feature world-class debuts and rare collector models, the arrival of the Peralta S adds a bespoke exclamation point to one of the automotive world's most prestigious celebrations. The news comes after a potential name for the new model was revealed with the company filing for a trademark on "Fenomeno" earlier this year. The two already released models are reportedly set to become the foundation for a range of one-off and limited-production variants. Filing with the European Union Intellectual Property Office in April this year the firm hinted at a potential name for a new limited-production project in the works. Lamborghini's filing for a trademark on the name "Fenomeno" is in its "opposition proceedings" which conclude on July 15. A new limited-edition supercar has been confirmed to be in the works with Lamborghini set to reveal the motor at Monterey Car Week in August. The brand says its new limited-edition model will "map out the future of Lamborghini super sports cars." Select clients have reportedly already seen the model with it expected to be Lamborghini's most powerful car ever. The new model is set to use Lamborghini's V-12 and just 29 examples of the motor are to be produced. The new supercar will seemingly be named Fenomeno - which is Italian and Spanish for phenomenon. Horns appear on the F and O and the word is written in a slanted font. Recently revealed supercars offered to consumers by the brand feature some pretty punchy engines. The Revuelto features a 6.5-litre hybrid V-12 offering up a staggering 1,001 horsepower. The Temerario boasts a twin turbo V-8 with three electric motors and delivers 920 horsepower. To call a new model a phenomenon in comparison to 1,000 horsepower beasts like the Reveulto suggests the brand is cooking up something really special. The teased new supercar is likely to boast even more impressive specs with the motor expected to be the brand's most powerful. To achieve this the new supercar would need to beat out the Reveulto's staggering 1,001 horsepower which currently holds the record for the most powerful Lamborghini.
