On April 27, another fatal crash occurred in a rural part of Tennessee, where a single-engine Mooney M20TN went down about a mile south of a small airport in Sparta. All three people on board were killed. The FAA confirmed the crash and began an investigation into the cause. 5. One person died and nine others sustained burn injuries after an aircraft crashed and exploded near the village of Akali Khurd, close to Bathinda on May 7. The crash took place in the fields just 20 km from the Bhisiana Air Force Station.
