Police seized a hunting knife and $4,000 worth of suspected fentanyl. In a separate incident, one person was seriously injured in a stabbing in Moosonee on Thursday night. The victim was airlifted to hospital. Police are investigating both cases. Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a 21-year-old from Moose Factory and seized suspected fentanyl worth an estimated $4,000 following a trespassing complaint earlier this month. (Supplied/Ontario Provincial Police) At about 9:30 p.m. on July 5, officers responded to a report of an individual trespassing on a commercial property on Ferguson Road in Moosonee. Police said the suspect was in violation of criminal conditions at the time. The individual was located shortly afterward on Bay Road. A subsequent search, recovered a large hunting knife and the quantity of suspected fentanyl. The accused is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, drug trafficking and failing to comply with an undertaking. The suspect was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
