Tennis whites have a storied history at The Championships, Wimbledon, as the dress code for competitors on the court. But at the 2025 edition of the tennis grand slam tournament, several high-profile spectators put their own spins on monochromatic white looks. Morgan Riddle, Monica Barbaro and more stars opted for all-white attire during their time at Wimbledon over the course of the last several days. Ahead, WWD breaks down those looks and more. While Jonas suited up in a navy blazer, cream trousers, light blue shirt and tie, Chopra favored a sleeveless white dress with a cinched waist and flowing, pleated skirt courtesy of Ralph Lauren. Monaica Barbaro favored a flowing dress from Ralph Lauren Collection when she attended Wimbledon on Sunday. The 'A Complete Unknown' Oscar nominee's dress featured a sleeveless silhouette with a fitted bodice and ethereal skirt. She paired the dress with strappy white sandals, too. Morgan Riddle wore her spin on the white hot trend at Wimbledon on July 2. The social media influencer and partner of American tennis player Taylor Fritz styled a sleeveless Dolce and Gabbana midi dress with vintage Chanel jewelry. Andrew Garfield also opted for Ralph Lauren. The actor wore white, tailored trousers with a linen shirt and a sweater tied over his shoulder at the tournament on Sunday. He paired the look with brown loafers. Designer Harris Reed wore coordinated, high-waisted white shorts with a complementary jacket on Monday. Reed did, however, add contrasting colors to his look, wearing a black shirt with a striking collar and black loafers. Maude Apatow wore an intricately designed midi dress by Ralph Lauren on Sunday. The 'Euphoria' star wore a tightly woven, plain-weave cotton poplin dress, designed with a tiered ruffled skirt, scalloped edges, and a stand collar. She paired the dress with strappy sandal heels. Morgan Riddle Brings Polka Dot Trend in Alessandra Rich to Wimbledon
Taylor Fritz's girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, embraced the ongoing polka dot trend for the fourth day of The Championships, Wimbledon on Thursday in London. The social media influencer arrived at the event, wearing a coordinated look courtesy of designer Alessandra Rich. Riddle styled a set with a navy blue base fabric and white polka dots, echoing a classic pattern with a streamlined silhouette for Wimbledon's historic, formal atmosphere. The long-sleeve blouse of Riddle's sartorial statement featured slightly puffed shoulders with a plunging neckline adorned by a feminine bow. Beneath the bow on Riddle's blouse, a shimmering silver gem button could be glimpsed. The skirt include a slight slit and minimal fabric draping for added tension and juxtaposition. Riddle paired her look with white, pointed-toe kitten heels. She accessorized with a few rings and a pair of gold sunglasses with brown lenses. Polka dots are having a revival in 2025, appearing on runways and in street style alike. Brands such as Jacquemus, Acne Studios, Fendi, Isabel Marant, Moschino, Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera and Valentino have all embraced the pattern this year, featuring polka dots on everything from dresses and knitwear to statement coats and accessories. Since Riddle and Fritz began their relationship in early 2020, Riddle has become a major fixture at several of Frtiz's matches. Riddle was previously spotted in Fritz's player's box at the 2025 French Open last May, where she styled a similar look to Thursday's Wimbledon attire. She styled a sleeveless black-and-white polka dot dress with a vintage-inspired bustier element. The French Open also served as the site where WWD had the opportunity to chat with the influencer about the rise in tenniscore looks. 'Tenniscore is in,' Riddle told WWD in her profile from the 2024 French Open. The tenniscore trend saw a major moment of synergy in 2024, thanks in no small part to the film 'Challengers' starring Zendaya. Throughout her press tour, the actress styled several looks that spoke to the tenniscore trend, orchestrated by image architect Law Roach. For spectators at Wimbledon, however, business attire and more tailored, streamlined looks have been the sartorial order when watching matches in the stands. LONDON (AP) — Morgan Riddle's effect on Wimbledon semifinalist Taylor Fritz's rise in the rankings has been significant. He says so himself. Riddle has been at the All England Club this year and others in her role as a fashion influencer, telling her hundreds of thousands of social media followers how tennis has become "the chicest sport in the world.' She's been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and the New York Times' Style section. She was seated at Centre Court on Friday for her boyfriend Fritz's match against Carlos Alcaraz. Riddle frequently is at tournaments to cheer for him. They were featured in the Netflix tennis documentary ' Break Point.' Morgan Riddle went from Minnesota to New York and multiple internships Riddle, 27, is a Minnesota native who attended Wagner College in New York City. 'By the end of my junior year, I had completed seven internships,' she said in a Wagner College video about the Class of 2019 member. Riddle explained that the internships included gigs at a magazine, a newspaper, a government office, a coffee company startup and a real estate company, with tasks including social media. Riddle and Fritz met about five years ago. Taylor Fritz credits Morgan Riddle's influence Fritz was the U.S. Open runner-up last September — his first appearance in a Grand Slam final — and reached a career-high ranking of No. 4 in November. He says it's important to have someone 'push you in the right direction all the time, supporting you." He spoke about Riddle's role after his 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (4) victory over Karen Khachanov in the quarterfinals. 'There's an obvious correlation between my results and ranking and the time we've been together,' he said. 'I would have to say she's been a big help to me, just kind of keeping me focused, having someone who cares and just pushes you to just do better and do the right things, be healthier.' Morgan Riddle promotes fashion and explains 'tenniscore' Riddle has worked with the All England Club to create video segments called 'Wimbledon Threads.' Wearing brands such as Chanel and Jimmy Choo, she details trends like 'tenniscore.' ''Tenniscore' isn't just about pleated skirts and vintage polos. It's about aspirational minimalism with a competitive edge,' she said in a video last week entitled ' How Wimbledon made tennis chic.' She added that Wimbledon has 'helped tennis become the chicest sport in the world.' Riddle isn't afraid to throw a few zingers. 'Of course we're here for the tennis but what was once a strictly sporting event has also turned into a global fashion spectacle. I know some of you may not want to hear that but just because the fact annoys you, doesn't make it any less true,' she said. That segment has 12,300 views as of Friday — a different Wimbledon video featuring a kid asking Aryna Sabalenka about pancakes has more than double that. Riddle's clips on TikTok, where she has nearly 600,000 followers, are more popular. She also has more than 450,000 followers on Instagram. Fritz often takes photos of her to post on social media. 'I've definitely gotten a lot better over the last couple of years but very reluctantly,' he said in an interview with The Associated Press last year. 'It's very embarrassing in public when I'm taking pictures (and) people are looking at me taking pictures of her. But you got to do what you got to do sometimes.
