Rescue dog Igor goes viral after brutally honest adoption post calls him a ‘sentient middle finger'
Igor, the impish dog, with 'devilish traits' was amusingly advertised as the 'sentient middle finger' through the adoption home's Facebook page. With the vigour of a "tiny Godzilla," a 10-pound social danger made his national television debut on the TODAY show dated July 14. On the Morning Boost segment of the show, which was hosted by Jenna Bush Hager and featured Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Savannah Guthrie, Igor, a rescue dog from the Renegade Paws Rescue in Savannah, Georgia, made an appearance on Monday, July 14, to demonstrate his status as "America's most rancid villain." The joke was a reaction to Igor's bad boy behaviour, which went viral because of Renegade Paws Rescue's funny and brutally honest social media adoption to the rescue's July 7 Facebook post, he is a "sentient middle finger wrapped in a cloud of fur,' stating, "We have reason to believe he's a cursed Victorian child masquerading as a 10lb stuffed animal.""He appeared; he wasn't born. Nobody can recall when or how. He appears at corners and in entrances," the post goes on. The essay also lists Igor's various dislikes, like going to the dog park or breakfast, and his loves, such "your ex-boyfriend's head on a platter," along with his training attempts."He made the trainer cry," according to his of animal lovers took notice of Renegade Paws Rescue's candid evaluation of Igor's personality, and they shared the message more than 35,000 times. Igor came to TODAY as a result of his achievements online. Igor was able to behave himself during his TV debut, beguiling the studio like "a Girl Scout on her way to Sunday mass," but his true self showed as soon as he hit the streets of New York City, according to a follow-up social media post from Renegade Paws Rescue."Unless bribed with a bacon-egg-and-cheese," the fanciful, irrational message says, "Igor refused to enter the tube." "After he got on the train, he humped the pole and then crop-dusted the car till he brought a youngster to tears. He rallied the rats to support him when the officials escorted him away while he was screaming. After recounting Igor's experiences at the Statue of Liberty, the humorous remembrance makes fun of how Igor's handlers, including the director and three foster coordinators, "barely made it out" of Brooklyn alive and "may never be the same" after chasing the dog throughout the adoptive parents have expressed a great deal of interest in Igor despite his silly antics, thanks to his Facebook posts and appearance on foster mum and the applications team are currently sorting through the hundreds of applications from deranged witches and hot girls 'who can change him'," said the rescue. "Until then, please send holy water and pray that he doesn't maim the TSA agent on his flight back to Savannah." Jennifer Taylor, the director of Renegade Paws Rescue, told PEOPLE that they are happy that the dog's mischievous behaviour may bring joy to people."We have a huge overpopulation crisis [of dogs] in Georgia, and we'll take any chance we can to get to talk with people about adoption, fostering, spay/neuter, and volunteering," Taylor stated."Even though Igor would never acknowledge it, he is still alive due of a kind volunteer who volunteered to take care of him and donations from others. In his diabolical heart, he feels who finds "small, emotionally stunted men intriguing" and is willing to live in Igor's home, not the other way around, is the kind of follower that Igor requires. He's open to dog siblings if they have the same wild streak as him, but if he meets a golden retriever that is too happy, he could need to be exorcized."The boy Igor is not good. The rescue crew said, "Igor is an experience."

TODAY 'Jenna's got a little something in the oven for the Boost,' Guthrie, 53, said before the camera cut over to the former first daughter, per People. 'Today' co-hosts Carson Daly, Al Roker and Craig Melvin were left scratching their heads over the baby news confusion. 'Wait, what?' Daly, 51, asked. 'Are you making an announcement?' 8 'Jenna's got a little something in the oven for the Boost,' Guthrie said. Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock 'Did you say Jenna's pregnant?' Roker, 70, added. 'I'm so excited for you!' someone else shouted in the background as Bush Hager started the segment. Guthrie then snapped at her male co-anchors as they tried to figure out what she meant by her 'little something in the oven' comment. 8 'Today' co-hosts Carson Daly and Al Roker were left scratching their heads over the confusion. NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images 'Stop that!' Guthrie barked. 'Stop that!' 'You guys,' Bush Hager added, 'I understood what she said.' But Daly, Roker and Melvin were not the only ones bewildered by Guthrie's remark, because some 'Today' viewers rushed to social media for clarification amid the baby announcement confusion. 8 'You guys, I understood what she said,' Bush Hager said. Today/NBC 'Bush is pregnant?' one person asked on Instagram. 'Are either one pregnant?' asked another, while a third commented, 'I'm confused.' Other fans slammed the show and lamented over Hoda Kotb's departure from the program. AP As for Guthrie, she has daughter Vale, 10, and son Charley, 8, with husband Mike Feldman. Meanwhile, this wouldn't be the first time that Guthrie inadvertently suggested Bush Hager was pregnant with a fourth child. Back in March, during an episode of 'Today With Jenna & Friends,' the broadcast journalist said that she 'had a dream' that Bush Hager welcomed another baby. 8 Guthrie shares two children with her husband, Mike Feldman. WireImage 'I have nothing to announce,' former President George W. Bush's daughter responded at the time. 'I'm pretty sure I've come to terms that three, even though it's an imperfect number, is the perfect number for our house.' 'It's very normal,' Guthrie chimed in. 'I think they call it being broody. You're kind of broody for a third or a fourth.' 'I would have had a third in a heartbeat, but, you know, I was up against the clock,' she added.

George W. Bush Starts 'Every Single Morning' with a Call to His 'Best Friend'
Jenna Bush Hager revealed that her dad, George W. Bush, calls his best friend "every single day." The Today co-host said her 78-year-old dad makes the daily call to "say good morning and check in." PEOPLE confirmed the identity of Bush's friend with the former president's President George W. Bush always starts his day in the same way — with his bestie. Jenna Bush Hager revealed the details about her father's routine during her 'Morning Boost' segment on the Today show on Tuesday, June 3. After showing the new TikTok trend of men calling their friends to wish them a good night, Bush Hager, 43, shared that her 78-year-old dad does something similar every morning. 'You know what my dad does every single morning?' she asked her co-hosts. 'He calls his best friend. Every single morning to say good morning and check in on him.' Bush Hager's co-host and friend Savannah Guthrie joked that the former president, who now lives a quiet live in Texas, can't make the call at night due to his early bedtime. "He can't say goodnight because he goes to bed at 6," Guthrie said. "Well, that's true," Bush Hager agreed. While Bush Hager didn't identify her dad's closest friend, PEOPLE confirmed with President Bush's office that the pal being referenced was former Commerce Secretary Donald L. Evans. Evans, 78, worked on the former president's gubernatorial campaign, successfully helping to elect him as the governor of Texas in both 1994 and 1998. Evans was also the chairman of Bush's 2000 presidential campaign, and he later served as a member of the president's official Cabinet, leading the Department of Commerce. On the George W. Bush Presidential Center website, Evans is referred to as a "trusted friend and advisor for more than four decades." While Bush Hager didn't identify Evans, she has previously talked about some of her dad's other friends, including former first lady Michelle Obama. In May, Bush Hager reflected on her dad's 'love language,' saying, "We love to tease my dad. And he likes it, usually, if he's in a good mood. But also, I just realized why my dad and Mrs. Obama are friends! They have the same love language." She shared that their "love language" revolves around laughter. As for Bush Hager's mom, former first lady Laura Bush, she appreciates the jokes too. "My mom laughs hysterically at my dad," Bush Hager said of Laura. "My dad mainly makes fun of himself. He's self-deprecating, but my mom thinks he's the funniest person in the entire world." Read the original article on People

Brazilian nun goes viral for beatboxing on TV — and fans compare the moment to 'Sister Act'
A Brazilian nun is earning raves around the world after she showed off her impressive beatboxing skills. Sister Marizele of Brazil went viral after dropping some beats, during a May 20 appearance on a Catholic TV channel, which prompted a second nun and priest to dance alongside her, as seen in a video shared by NBC News. Wearing a blue skirt, white shirt and white nun's habit, Sister Marizele began by singing before she switched to making percussive sounds with her mouth and tongue. Then, a second nun started to dance alongside Sister Marizele. Before long, a priest wearing a long black robe joined in on busting a move. In the comments section, fans of the holy trio likened them to Whoopi Goldberg's 1990s comedy film franchise 'Sister Act,' about a lounge singer who transforms a nun singing group after she's placed in a convent as part of a witness protection program. 'I know 'Sister Act' when I see it,' one viewer wrote. 'They really dropping a 'Sister Act' remake in 2025, huh?' joked another. Several people pointed out that those who become nuns and priests were once 'teenagers with love of music,' adding, 'I love seeing them showing off their amazing talents.' Or, as another delighted viewer put it, 'Fun is not a sin.' On the May 27 episode of TODAY, Jenna Bush Hager shared the fun clip during Morning Boost. Carson Daly came up with the perfect nickname for the hip-hop nun. 'Nun-D.M.C,' Carson quipped. 'Is this real?' Craig Melvin asked as he watched the video. 'It's real. Live from Catholic TV, it's a beatboxing nun and her holy backup dancer,' Jenna replied.
