Moscow has begun testing its first unmanned boat. According to Maksim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, the boat will undergo water trials to demonstrate its efficiency and is expected to become a versatile assistant to the river police in the Central Federal District. It will be capable of automatically recording violations in the Moscow River area.
The unmanned boat is equipped with advanced technologies that ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety, allowing it to perform tasks without human intervention. It is also environmentally friendly, running on electricity and producing no pollution.

Moreover, the boat is highly reliable, as it is owned by the Moscow government and protected against external interference. It is considered flexible due to its ability to operate continuously, without downtime, holidays, or interruption, even in adverse weather conditions.
Liksutov added that the boat was designed with the necessary equipment and technologies. Specialists have developed precise software programs to ensure the boat follows a specific route, detects enclosed spaces, and navigates around obstacles. They will also work on implementing unique drone technologies in the capital's transportation sector. This innovation is expected to be especially useful for law enforcement agencies.
