Adam Levine 'done' with tattoos

Adam Levine is "done" with tattoos because he finds them too painful now. The Maroon 5 singer has extensive body art but admitted his last session, a refresh on his left arm sleeve, was likely to be his last because he has "softened" more as he's got older. Describing the process of getting inked as "fun" but "painful", he told 'I covered up my sleeve with another sleeve. Who does that? What is wrong with me? Psychotic. "It really hurt. I'm kind of done with the pain, I've decided … now, I've softened. "Now, when I get a tattoo, I'm like, 'This hurts so badly.' Like, 'What's wrong?' We're done." The 46-year-old star also admitted he is "running out of room" on his body for more tattoos and he always "promised" he wouldn't get his face inked. The Moves Like Jagger hitmaker - who has three children with wife Behati Prinsloo - finds it hard to pick out a favourite inking. He said: "No, there's too many. It's too overwhelming... "I like them all." But he ultimately concluded he likes his hand tattoos, which feature the words 'true love' spelled out across eight of his fingers. However, back in 2013, Adam insisted he wouldn't get any body art on his hands because they are "sacred". He told People magazine: "I don't do below the waist. You can't do the hands, that's sacred too, that's what you make things with, I'm tied to my hands. I just can't do hands." And the Sugar singer's first ever tattoo was a dove on his left bicep. He said: "I was 21. It was five days after 9/11. I felt this need to say something with this peaceful thing on my body." Adam recently spoke of why he agreed to return for season 27 of The Voice after departing his role as a coach during season 16. He told reporters: "I honestly feel like the stars aligned. 'It was one of those moments where we started talking about it and it felt right... and it hadn't felt right until now.' Adam, who had spent nearly nine years on the show, admitted he needed a break from the relentless schedule that came with the job. He said: 'Doing it for so long, so consistently... you can definitely start to get burnt. 'I started to feel like I was kind of getting away from things that matter to me the most, like making music and playing music.'

Adam Levine tricked into paying 5k for teacup pig

Adam Levine was convinced to splash out $5,000 on a pet pig by Blake Shelton. The Maroon 5 frontman had just begun dating Behati Prinsloo - who he went on to marry in 2014 and has three children with - when he learned the model "really wanted" a teacup pig, but while he was unsure what the creature was, his pal offered to source one for him, even though he knew it would grow to be much bigger than the couple were expecting. Speaking on Hot Ones, Adam said: "My now-wife, then-brand-new girlfriend, she said she really wanted a teacup pig. "And I didn't know what that was, but of course the first person I would ask [would be Blake]… So I asked Blake. I'm like, 'What's a teacup pig?' He's like, 'I'll get you a teacup pig. Yeah, give me five grand.' " But after just three weeks, Adam and Behati rehomed the creature - and were stunned to see how it had developed months later. The 46-year-old singer said: "We had to give it to a little girl on a farm. We're like, 'Send us pictures! We can't wait to not be responsible for this animal anymore! Just show us pictures!' "She sends us a picture like six months later and the pig is like 400 pounds. I'm like, 'Dude, what if this animal had grown to be this big in my house?!'" The Moves Like Jagger hitmaker then confronted Blake about the size of the supposed "teacup pig", and the country star admitted he had "pranked" his pal because he knew there was "no such thing" as miniature swine. He said: "I'm just like, 'Blake, bro, $5,000 for a pig that wasn't a micro pig?' And he's like, 'You're an idiot! There's no such thing as f****** teacup pigs, you dumbass!' So that was a pretty good prank that he played on me." And to make the situation worse, Blake refused to give Adam any of his money back. Adam said: "He's like, 'No!'" Adam recently spoke of why he agreed to return for season 27 of The Voice after departing his role as a coach during season 16. He told reporters: "I honestly feel like the stars aligned. 'It was one of those moments where we started talking about it and it felt right... and it hadn't felt right until now.' We moved in with a couple in their 50s when we were in our 20s. Despite the age difference, we became lifelong friends.

When we were in our 20s, my partner Sam and I decided to do a working holiday in Banff, Canada. Initially, we rented a room in a three-bedroom share house with two other couples who were close in age to us. It was loads of fun, but nobody did much cleaning, and there was a fair amount of drinking and partying. Sam got a job with the town of Banff and soon he befriended this Canadian guy named Billy. Billy is one of those larger-than-life personalities; he's high energy and extremely likeable. Everyone in town knows him, and he's affectionately known as "Billy Banff." One day, Billy mentioned that he and his wife had a room available in their cozy two-bedroom property. After chatting with me about it, Sam told Billy we'd love to take it. We lived together well I'll never forget the day we moved in. I met Billy's wife, Fern, who's a wonderfully warm, very calm, grounded person. She's the yin to Billy's yang in a lot of ways, and the pair complements each other beautifully. As we talked through the finer details of the rental arrangement, I asked her if I could have a set of keys for the property. "Oh, honey, we don't even know where they are," she said, smiling. "We never bother locking the house!" That's the kind of trusting, beautiful people Billy and Fern are. Their house is always open and full of loved ones. When they showed us our room, they'd left a bottle of Yellow Tail merlot from Australia on the dresser for us, as a nod to our home. We felt so welcome. At that point, Billy and Fern were in their 50s, while Sam and I were 29 and 26. Despite the age difference, the living arrangement worked really well. Fern and Bill were fun and young at heart, but also very caring and nurturing. We all helped out with cleaning and often shared meals together. I used to love coming home after a waitressing shift to find Fern on the veranda, relaxing and taking in nature. We'd have deep conversations about love, life, and everything in between. Sometimes, if Billy was home, we'd crank "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5 and dance around the living room like kids. I also played "A Horse With No Name" by America over and over; it had been featured by our favorite TV show at the time, "Breaking Bad," and Billy and I often sang it together. It became a bit of a theme song for that chapter of my life. We moved out, but we've stayed in touch all these years When we eventually decided it was time to move on from Banff, the feeling was bittersweet. It was springtime when we left. The deer were out in full force and the sun was still shining at 9 p.m. As a final farewell, Fern made an amazing feast for us and we sat around the fire drinking wine. It really felt like home. After we left Banff, we moved to London for a year and then returned to Australia. As fate would have it, Fern and Billy's daughter Penny lives on the Gold Coast, where my family is based, so we've been lucky enough to catch up with them over the years. In 2019, we even took our kids to Canada to show them Banff, which still feels like our "happy place." On our most recent catch-up on the Gold Coast earlier this year, I was walking through a beachside park when I heard someone singing a familiar tune with a thick Canadian accent. "I've been through the desert on a horse with no name. It felt good to be out of the rain," they sang. I could not wipe the grin off my face as I turned and saw Billy standing nearby, his arms outstretched and ready for a bear hug. Whenever we get together with Fern and Billy, it's always like old times. They're more than lifelong friends. To us, they're family and always will be.

The dance-y pop rockers just announced they're releasing their eighth studio album 'Love Is Like' on Aug. 15 and going on a 23-concert arena tour in the fall with special guest Claire Rosinkranz to support the new record. Late in the run, Adam Levine and co. are scheduled to bring their 'Moves Like Jagger' into New York City's Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Nov. 19. And, before the official tour begins, the hitmakers will headline at Endicott, NY's En-Joie Golf Course on Friday, July 11 as part of the annual Dick's Sporting Goods Open. This trek will be the group's first official nationwide jaunt since 2021's 'MMXXI Tour.' In the intervening years, they have conducted multiple Las Vegas residencies and staged a short 2024 tour, which included a handful of New York and New Jersey stops. 'I feel like we've gone back to what we used to do, which is to not pay attention to where we fit and producing the music organically,' said Levine, 46, about the upcoming album. 'This is kind of how we stuck out in the beginning when we first started our career.' 'Love Is Like's' two lead singles — the catchy 'Priceless' and lively 'All Night' — are available to stream now; we've got more about both radio-friendly tracks below. Fans Marooners can purchase tickets for all upcoming Maroon 5 shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the fall 2025 tour is Friday, June 7. Up first, they unveiled 'Priceless,' a duet with Blackpink member and 'White Lotus' star Lisa. The slinky tune is a danceable track designed for shower, grocery store and car sing-alongs. More recently, the sextet shared the sax-y 'All Night,' which is a genuinely funky foot-stomper that's an absolute ball. And, my goodness, that sax solo! It's worth the price of admission alone. To hear for yourself, you can find both 'Love Is Like' lead singles here. Claire Rosinkranz At all fall shows, Maroon 5 will be joined by 21-year-old singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz. The lo-fi vocalist is known for her hummable mega-hit 'Backyard Boy' but we're partial to the bouncy ballad 'don't miss me.' Fans only just discovering Benny Blanco is secretly behind 16 UK number ones

If you listened to the charts at all in the past 15 years, you are probably a fan of Benny Blanco without even realising it. The 37-year-old hitmaker has been thrown into a newfound spotlight thanks to his very well known, fiancée Selena Gomez. The pair are incredibly loved-up, constantly posting together on social media, but it's caused fans to wonder who actually is this seemingly random man. Turns out, Benny has secretly been the genius behind basically every hit song in the 2010s and beyond. Moves Like Jagger, Payphone, TiK ToK, 2002, California Gurls, Love Yourself, Shape of You — the list is truly endless. He's just as surprised as we are. Benny once humbly told the Sydney Herald: 'I just sit there and I twiddle my thumbs. I'm still confused as to why I have a job.' Born in Virginia on March 8, 1988, Benny is best known as a prolific and successful producer and songwriter. He released his own album in 2018, with the track Eastside featuring Halsey and Khalid becoming a breakout hit and charting. Most people became aware of Benny when Selena hard-launched their relationship, and boy, did fans have opinions on him. However, the couple have actually been friends for years, first collaborating in 2015 to create her songs Same Old Love and Kill Em With Kindness. Benny, real name Benjamin Joseph Levin, got his start as a teenager after experiments with beats and recording himself singing caught the attention of executives at Columbia Records. He earned an apprenticeship with producer Disco D, and by 19 years old, he was working alongside Dr Luke with some of the biggest artists in the world. Over the past two decades, he has received eleven Grammy Award nominations, although he is yet to win. While there's no Grammy in his home, Benny has won the 2017 iHeartRadio Producer of the Year Award and was the recipient of the 2013 Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. During his period with Dr Luke he helped write and produce Katy Perry's Teenage Dream, Kesha's TiK ToK, and Taio Cruz' Dynamite. By 2008, Benny was included on Britney Spears' Circus album and is credited with co-writing the titular track, which is recognised as one of the top 10 best-selling songs of 2009. From here, his discography continued to amass hit songs, including in 2011 when he wrote without Dr Luke for the first time — and made Moves Like Jagger. He told YouTuber Daniel Wall the song came about because Adam Levine had featured on a demo and wanted the song for Maroon 5, but instead Benny promised a different track. 'I said, 'Let me give you another song, I have an idea' … I had no idea,' he revealed. 'I'm like in a hotel room going back and forth trying to make it happen.' The idea ended up being Moves Like Jagger, but the radio stations weren't convinced at the time — with Maroon 5 already having Never Going To Leave This Bed ready to launch. So the band's manager sneakily swapped the tracks on the launch show for The Voice, creating an instant hit. 'We wake up the next morning, it's number one in 83 countries,' Benny laughed. 'Never looked back, that started such a great journey with me and Maroon 5.' While Moves Like Jagger remains one of Benny's biggest hits, it is by no means the only one he has written. Until now, Benny's been a name for people in the know, big music fans and industry heavyweights. He told the Sydney Herald in 2022, 'When we made TiK ToK or when we made Dynamite, I had no idea they'd stand the test of time the way they did. I was just making songs.' On fame, he added: 'I spent most of my life behind the scenes, and I had the best job in the world: I was known enough to get into nice restaurants, but not known enough to get stopped on the street. 'Once I became an artist and that changed, I definitely had so much more respect for being an artist and a celebrity and stuff. I didn't really get it until I was put in that position.' His recent album and relationship with Selena pushed him to the forefront for the first time since his own hit Eastside in 2018. Speaking about his career on Daniel's channel, Benny shared: 'I started out, I thought I was going to be the biggest rapper in the world. I wasn't the biggest rapper in the world, but you know what, I ended up in a pretty cool job. 'Don't be so precious, you can reinvent yourself a million times,' he advised. 'Do something that sounds like you, just be original.' Over the course of his career so far, Benny is credited with writing or producing almost 30 number one hits globally.
