Sivakarthikeyan's next project to be directed by Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT director Venkat Prabhu?
Sivakarthikeyan seems to have an exciting lineup ahead, including AR Murugadoss' Madharasi and Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi. And now a new project of the actor has been confirmed, raising quite a lot of excitement among fans. Sivakarthikeyan's next to be directed by Venkat Prabhu Well, Sivakarthikeyan is all set to collaborate with director Venkat Prabhu in an upcoming project. The filmmaker confirmed the same as he made an appearance at the audio launch event of the film Thalaivan Thalaivi. As per a Movie Tamil report, the filmmaker roused excitement amongst the audience when he said, 'My next film is with Sivakarthikeyan.' Sivakarthikeyan to share screen with Mohanlal? According to a previous report by Valai Pechu, the actor is likely to join forces with filmmaker Vinayak Chandrasekhar for his 24th film. However, things will turn special for this project since Sivakarthikeyan will get to share the screen with Mohanlal. Well, the Mollywood icon is reportedly going to play SK's father in the movie, and the entire project will revolve around the father-son equation. When Aamir Khan revealed plans on casting Sivakarthikeyan for Sitaare Zameen Par During an exclusive interview recently with Pinkvilla's Masterclass, Aamir Khan grabbed attention when he spoke about his erstwhile plans of roping in Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role for his film Sitaare Zameen Par. The Bollywood actor explained how he, at first, only wanted to remain a producer and have SK along with Farhan Akhtar to lead the project in two bilingual versions. In his words, 'When Laal Singh didn't work out, I felt broken and wanted to take a break from acting. I told the film's director, RS Prasanna, about it, who was disappointed by my decision but understanding as well.' He added, 'Acknowledging my predicament as an actor, he agreed and asked me to continue as a producer. I agreed, and then we spoke to Farhan and Sivakarthikeyan. The film was initially being made as a bilingual in Hindi and Tamil.'

Vikram Rejects SS Rajamouli's SSMB29, R Madhavan To Play Mahesh Babu's Father Now
Last Updated: Director SS Rajamouli has been keeping the details of SSMB29 under wraps. The film will also star Priyanka Chopra in a key role. SS Rajamouli is currently working on his next film with Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB29. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the much-awaited film, it has now been reported that R Madhavan is also likely to join the movie. As reported by Movie Tamil, R Madhavan will be seen playing the role of Mahesh Babu's father in the Rajamouli movie. The media portal also claims that the role was initially offered to Chiyaan Vikram. However, when he refused to be a part of the project for unknown reasons, the makers approached R Madhavan. The latter has now been finalised for the role. However, it should also be noted that neither the actor nor the makers of SSMB29 have issued any official announcement regarding Madhavan's casting as of now. What Else Do We Know About SSMB29? Director SS Rajamouli has been keeping the details of SSMB29 under wraps. However, for now, it is known that the film is expected to be an action-adventure drama in the vein of Indiana Jones, a genre Rajamouli's father and veteran writer Vijayendra Prasad has also confirmed in several interviews. Rajamouli even did a location recce in Kenya back in 2024, which suggests that at least a part of the movie will be filmed there. The shoot was initially expected to begin in mid-2024, but delays in pre-production pushed things further. During a special screening of RRR in Japan earlier, Rajamouli had given a small but sweet update on the project. 'His name is Mahesh Babu, he is a Telugu actor (people hoot). Looks like many of you already know him. He is very handsome. Hopefully, we finish the film a little bit fast and during the release, I will bring him here, and I'll introduce him to you.
