Convicted serial killer, ex-cop in court for alleged murder plot

Convicted serial killer and former police officer Nomia Rosemary Ndlovu appeared in the Kempton Park Regional Court this morning alongside her former colleague Nomsa Mudau on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. Kempton Express reports the case was postponed to October 1 after representation did not arrive for the hearing. On June 5, the case against the two former police officers was also postponed for a Section 174 application. Ndlovu, formerly stationed at the Tembisa Police Station, and Mudau, who served at the Norkem Park Police Station, are accused of conspiring to kill Mudau's ex-husband, Justice Mudau. It is alleged Mudau promised to pay the hitmen using proceeds from a life insurance policy she had taken out in her ex-husband's name. However, instead of carrying out the killing, the hitmen tipped him off. Ndlovu was sentenced in 2021 to six life terms in prison for the murders of five of her relatives and her partner. Two key Mamelodi Sundowns players linked with moves abroad

Mamelodi Sundowns could lose two of their players this transfer window as they continue to attract European teams. Although the Brazilians were eliminated in the group stages of the FIFA Club World Cup, their performance caught the eye of a few European teams. Two players who have impressed are Lucas Ribeiro and Khuliso Mudau. According to Soccer Laduma , French giants AS Monaco have inquired about Mudau. Two other clubs are also interested in the Mamelodi Sundowns' right back. 'There have been more enquiries, mainly after the Club World Cup but the main one is from French Ligue 1 club Monaco. They have shown interest in him and it is now all up to the two clubs whether they will agree on the move or not,' the source told Soccer Laduma . 'The talks have never stopped. All the involved parties have been talking and Sundowns have made it clear that they want to keep Mudau at the club. And with this interest from Monaco in France they are believed to be working on his new contract as soon as they can to secure his future,' another source told the publication. Ribeiro has been exceptional since joining The Brazilians back in 2023. He was the best player in the league last season and is a favourite to claim the PSL Player of the Year award. The Mamelodi Sundowns forward have been linked with Turkish giants Trabzonspor and French Ligue 2 club Saint-Etienne. Back in Brazil, local media have reported that Fluminense, one of the teams Ribeiro faced in the Club World Cup, is said to be eager to bring him home. Sundowns fans praise Khuliso Mudau's performance despite loss

Mamelodi Sundowns right back Khuliso Mudau was praised for his performance despite the team's 4-3 loss to Borussia Dortmund at the FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday. Having won their open match, Masandawana were hoping for a win at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio but it wasn't to be as poor defending let them down. Sundowns opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Lucas Ribeiro Costa but Dortmund scored three times in the space of 29 minutes with goals by Felix Nmecha, Serhou Guirassy and Jobe Bellingham. The German giants increased their lead in the second half and despite a spirited fight from Downs, BVB claimed a 4-3 victory. Masandawana's loss means they now need to win their final group match against Brazilian side Fluminense if they are to qualify to the next round. Despite the loss, Mamelodi Sundowns fans praised defender Khuliso Mudau for his performance. The right-back scored an own goal in the second half however his defending throughout the tournament has been exceptional. @Geshlagesh wrote: 'I'd love to see Mudau playing overseas, he's a reliable workhorse and deserves to play for a bigger club.' @cfcidich wrote: 'Mudau you are so under-appreciated, to be flying up and down the pitch consistently like that is beautiful. what a player.' @Ka_Lindamkhonto wrote: 'Khuliso Mudau is a funny player, his heroic defending is almost always a result of him being out of position yet his speed, athleticism and impeccable and clean tackling is always bailing him out.
