Revealed: How much Woltemade could earn at Bayern Bayern Munich are hoping to agree a deal with VfB Stuttgart to sign Nick Woltemade after agreeing personal terms with the player. Advertisement According to the German outlet, Woltemade has agreed to a contract running until 2030 and will earn a fixed €7.5 million per year at Bayern if the move goes through. With bonuses, the total amount could even rise to €10 million annually. In comparison, Stuttgart reportedly offered the striker around €2.5 million per year to extend his contract. Bayern are said to have informed Stuttgart of their interest and plan to begin negotiations over a transfer fee shortly. Stuttgart have stated publicly that they want to keep Woltemade, but it's been suggested that a fee of around €60 million could persuade them to sell.

Flight Forced On 8-Hour Detour After Missing Munich Airport Curfew By 10 Seconds
The passengers on Condor Flight 1513 earlier this month were mere seconds from touching down before their trip was suddenly extended by eight hours. The German airline's Airbus A321 was on final approach to Munich Airport with its landing gear down when the flight crew was denied permission to land. The flight had missed the last possible landing time after a midnight curfew by just ten seconds and was forced to land at a diversion airport 233 miles away. Admittedly, the debacle was sparked by the Condor flight running extremely late due to a prior delay with the plane, according to One Mile At A Time. Departure from Palma de Mallorca Airport in Spain was originally scheduled for 8:35 p.m. but didn't take off until 10:52 p.m., 12 minutes after its planned arrival. The flight received a 30-minute extension to allow for a 12:30 a.m. landing but fell just seconds short. Hahn Airport, 75 miles outside of Frankfurt, was the closest diversion without a curfew. Condor Flight 1513 finally landed at 1:13 a.m., where the passengers endured a lengthy deplaning process. By 3:00 a.m., they were loaded onto a bus for a 90-minute trip to Frankfurt Airport. Condor then booked the passengers on a 6:50 a.m. flight to Munich. Surprisingly, Condor was able to get the diverted flight's Airbus A321 to Munich by 5:47 a.m., over two hours before the passengers made it there. While one can attribute a portion of the blame to German aviation regulations, Condor's operations didn't help itself in this scenario. With such a tight window to complete the flight, the airline should have just cancelled the service and put the passengers up in a hotel overnight. Poor airline scheduling isn't anything new. Southwest Airlines still holds the infamous crown in that category for its complete meltdown in December 2022. The Dallas-based carrier cancelled around 16,900 flights over the holiday season. The U.S. Department of Transportation levied a record $140 million fine against Southwest in the meltdown's aftermath. The penalty was in addition to nearly $600 million in refunds and reimbursements. The nationwide incident led the Biden administration to reform airline passenger protection laws, making refunds for cancellations and severe delays automatic. Want more like this? The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's latest deal means he will play on until at least the age of 42 and gives him the chance to add to his record-breaking career. 'A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let's make history together,' Ronaldo said in a social media post along with a picture of him holding up a shirt that said 'Ronaldo 2027.' The contract sees Ronaldo extend his time in Saudi Arabia, having joined Al Nassr at the end of 2022 in one of the most shocking transfers in soccer history after leaving Manchester United. The deal was reportedly worth up to $200 million a year and led to a slew of top players, including Neymar and Karim Benzema, leaving Europe for the oil-rich kingdom. With his contract due to expire, the 40-year-old Ronaldo sparked uncertainty at the end of the Saudi season last month when he said the 'chapter is over.' But he ended speculation Thursday, saying 'Al Nassr forever' in the club's announcement. The deal is evidence the former Real Madrid forward wants to achieve more. The move to a less-challenging league has also not hindered his standing with his national team. The five-time Champions League winner has won 28 major trophies with club and country and just helped Portugal win the UEFA Nations League title. He is the all-time leading scorer in the Champions League with 141 goals. The World Cup is the only major honor missing from his resume and he may get one last chance to lift soccer's grandest prize at next year's tournament. Despite helping to raise the profile of Saudi Arabian soccer and scoring 77 goals in 74 league appearances, Ronaldo has found trophies hard to come by at Al Nassr. His one so far was the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023. He is yet to win the Saudi Pro League in three attempts. Still, his latest deal was hailed by the club, which posted a video of him walking on a beach with the caption 'The Story continues..' along with emojis of a goat and a gold heart. Ronaldo is considered by many to be soccer's greatest of all time, a term often abbreviated as 'GOAT.' He and Lionel Messi have had a years-long rivalry as the two finest players of their generation, with the duel reaching its peak when they played for Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.
