Watch: Holy Kaaba washed using 40 litres of Zamzam water in annual ritual
In a revered annual tradition, the Holy Kaaba in Makkah was ceremonially washed for the Hijri year 1447, in the presence of dignitaries and ambassadors from several Muslim countries accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The washing process, known as 'Ghusl', always follows the replacement of the Kiswa which took place on the first day of the Islamic New Year. During the Ghusl ritual, the doors of the Kaaba — Islam's holiest site — are opened, and its interior is cleansed by wiping the walls with cloths soaked in a blend of Zamzam water and rose water. Turkey's Erdogan says Israel attacks aimed to sabotage Iran nuclear talks
ANKARA, June 21 (Reuters) - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that Israel's attacks on Iran right before a new round of nuclear talks with the United States aimed to sabotage the negotiations, and it showed Israel did not want to resolve issues through diplomacy. Speaking at a foreign ministers' meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul, Erdogan urged countries with influence over Israel not to listen to its "poison" and to seek a solution to the fighting via dialogue without allowing a wider conflict. He also called on Muslim countries to increase their efforts to impose punitive measures against Israel on the basis of international law and United Nations' resolutions.

What to know about Trump's order to restrict travel from 19 countries
President Donald Trump announced restrictions on individuals coming to the United States from more than dozen countries on Wednesday, broadening a policy from his first term and amplifying the administration's stringent approach to immigration. The ban, which is set to go into effect on Monday, has been criticized by rights groups for targeting several African and majority Muslim nations, and for appearing to capitalize on a moment of public grief after Sunday's attack in Boulder, Colorado. Trump's previous 2017 travel ban had two iterations before a third was upheld by the Supreme Court in 2018, and some legal experts expect the new restrictions will also face legal challenges. Here's what to know.
