Shrek's Adventure is the best family day out – and you can get two tickets with Sun Superdays
IF the stress of the looming school holidays has left you feeling ogreish, it might be time to ship the kids off to a land Far Far Away. The brilliantly bonkers Shrek's Adventure! London, located on the buzzing South Bank, is celebrating its tenth anniversary this summer. 4 4 4 This immersive, family attraction has ten fairytale-themed live shows to explore, featuring real-life actors, special effects and DreamWorks Animation, in search of The BGG (that's Big Green Guy). Excited squeals My sons, George, five, and three-year-old Olly, were enchanted as we boarded the 4D flying bus driven, erratically, by their favourite character, Donkey. Water was squirted at us as we veered too close to a river, and the wind whipped our hair as we zoomed into the clouds. Cue lots of excited squeals. Hundreds of thousands of Shrek fans, including celeb mums Myleene Klass and Amy Childs, pay a visit to Shrek's Adventure! London every year. No wonder it is a TripAdvisor Traveller's Choice. On our visit, we 'crashed' the bus and bumped off one of Rumpelstiltskin's favourite witches, and were then tasked with collecting ingredients to make an escape potion. Audience participation, especially getting grown-ups to do silly things, is at the heart of this hilarious experience. Cinderella persuaded my husband Patrick, 39, to put his hand down the loo in search of gold. The kids went wild as loud fart noises filled the room. A fortune teller then directed us to the Poison Apple Pub, where we danced with barmaid Doris and bumped into Puss in Boots. Shrek fans stunned as Hollywood A-lister makes shock appearance in new teaser as ogre's teenage daughter 4 George delighted in being given one of the cat's (gross) furballs — necessary for our magic brew, apparently. We got lost in the Mirror Maze — Olly was in awe, 'Mummy, there are loads of us!' — before Sleeping Beauty saved us. Despite the fact she kept dozing off, to much amusement, we reached The Bakery, where the Muffin Man helped us mix the elixir, spurred on by 'Gingy' The Gingerbread. The kids gasped as the cauldron bubbled. Just when we thought it was all over, we were thrown in prison. Plot twist. Fortunately, Princess Fiona was there to help us make our getaway. We were then congratulated on our heroism by Shrek, who greeted us with high-fives, before we headed back into the real world. Shrek's Adventure! London is far far and away the best day out. If only we could spend all summer there.

Myleene Klass revealed she has gifted her lookalike sister a white bikini on Instagram on Monday, 20 years after her iconic I'm A Me Out Of Here! shower scene. The former Hear'Say singer, 47, who is famously remembered for wearing the tiny white two-piece on the ITV show, sprayed her younger sibling with champagne as they both danced around a swimming pool in their bikinis. Myleene showed off her amazing figure in a black and white spotted two-piece which she teamed with a matching headscarf and chic white sunglasses. Meanwhile her bride-to-be sister Jessie, who lives in Australia, rocked her new white bikini showcasing her toned abs as they partied in the sunshine. Myleene penned: 'Hey Mrs Saunders. My gift to the bride, a white bikini!! My baby sister love you Mrs Saunders.' The lookalike pair looked happier than ever as they threw their arms in the air while partying and celebrating Jessie's marriage. Earlier this year, Myleene, posted a photo of her emotional goodbye with her younger sister Jessie after they spent a week together exploring Thailand with their families. TV and radio producer Jessie lives in Australia, with Myleene revealing that they chose Thailand to meet up for a long awaited reunion. Posting a farewell selfie Myleene wrote: 'I have a red nose as my sister just made a goodbye speech. I'm the ugly crier of the family. She goes back to Oz and us back to the UK. Myleene added the caption 'Klass Girls on tour' as the lookalike sisters smiled for the camera. The star also shared a reel from her trip which showed the sisters enjoying quality time together and with Myleene's three children Ava, Hero and Apollo. Myleene also posed with her fiancé Simon Motson as the group packed in the fun with boat trips, pool swims, kick boxing classes and plenty of delicious treats at food markets. 'Take me to the beach. Our family reunion in Thailand. So much to celebrate together,' a happy Myleene captioned the post. Myleene is the proud daughter of immigrant parents. She and Jessie were raised by their mother Magdalena and father Oscar in Norfolk. Oscar, of Austrian descent is a retired captain in the Royal Navy who retrained as a plumber whilst Magdalena, who is Filipino, was a nurse. In March, Myleene once again set pulses racing in a white bikini as she recreated her iconic I'm A Me Out Of Here shower moment. She looked incredible in the two-piece from her new swimwear range with Freemans in a clip shared to Instagram. She accessorised with a gold watch, matching necklace and rings as she stepped out of a zip-up beach hut while on location. The radio presenter let her brunette tresses loose as she struck a series of poses and adjusted her bikini. Myleene captioned the post: 'Who knew 19 years ago when I took a white bikini into the jungle, I'd be celebrating it all these years later?! I've lived many, many lives since then but I've brought my trusty white bikini with me! 'Thank you for your support and for popping it in your holiday shop this week! Despite the weather, sales have been [fire emoji] [muscly arm emoji].' Myleene previously revealed that the first white bikini she wore in 2006 sold for a whopping £7,500 after the show - after she bought it for just £40. 'I bought that white bikini for £40. After the show I sold it off - for £7,500!' she said ahead of entering the jungle for the all-stars edition in 2023. The singer has been spotted time and time again in white bikinis over the years, even playing the I'm A Celeb theme tune on the piano while wearing one to promote the series two years ago.

The former Hear'Say singer, 47, flaunted her toned physique as she modelled her red scalloped edged bikini. Her bright coloured two-piece consisted of high-waisted bottom briefs and a halterneck top. As she twirled around in the pool, Myleene's clip saw the bikinis interchange to a black and white polka dot version as she soaked up the sun abroad. To accessorise, Myleene paired her look with a matching bandana tied around her head and a huge pair of statement sunglasses. Alongside her sizzling clip, the brunette beauty penned: 'it's back! Red scalloped edged bikini from my range.' The vacation snaps come after she revealed a surprising new career move earlier this month. Posing in her new uniform, she shared that she is now a trained volunteer with St John. Ambulance in a recent post on Instagram. The former singer had been studying a course to become a first aider after twice saving her daughters from choking. Announcing that she had passed the course, Myleene captioned her post: 'Check out my new office! 'Thank you for your countless messages of love and support. Myleene - who admitted she's at the 'right age' for perimenopause - revealed she has been struggling to sleep and experiencing migraines. 'I don't get the hot flushes that my auntie used to talk about,' she said, 'but I do get completely exhausted and don't sleep at night. The migraines are so terrible! 'I've got a supportive partner. The first thing I do is wake up, open my eyes and he puts a coffee in my hand. He's great, we do it together.' Myleene and her boyfriend Simon Motson have been together since 2015 and share her youngest son, five-year-old Apollo. Before splitting with ex-husband Graham Quinn in 2012, they had two daughters, Ava, 17 and Hero, 13.
