Here's who the OKC Thunder will face in 2025 NBA Cup West Group A
One of their only accolades left to accomplish, the Oklahoma City Thunder will hope to capture the 2025 NBA Cup. They fell short of the mid-season tournament title last season with a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2024 NBA Cup Finals.
But first, the Thunder must perform well in the group stage to advance to the eight-team knockout stage. The NBA announced its 2025 NBA Cup groups and schedule on Wednesday.
The Thunder are in the West's Group A. The Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz join them. There are six groups of five teams throughout the NBA. Three for each conference. Each team will play each other in their group round-robin style from Oct. 31 to Nov. 28.
After the group stage standings are finalized, the six group winners and two wildcard teams. The 2025 NBA Cup semifinals and championship will be played in Las Vegas from Dec. 13-16. A financial bonus for the entire roster is on the line.
The Thunder will play two home and two road games for their West Group A games. They will host the Suns and Timberwolves. And go on the road against the Kings and Jazz. The 2025 NBA Cup groups can be viewed below:

Let's see if the Thunder can get back to Las Vegas. The group isn't too bad for them. Just like last season, the NBA champion should be favored to at least advance to the eight-team tournament.
