NFL Top 100: Jaguars DE Josh Hines-Allen is No. 63, faces Arizona Cardinals in 2025

The Cardinals face Jaguars DE Josh Hines-Allen, the No. 63 player in the 'NFL Top 100,' in Week 12. This week, the NFL had its fourth week of revealing players in the "NFL Top 100." This week was about revealed Nos. 61-70. Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride came in at No. 65. On Thursday, a player the Cardinals will face as an opponent in 2025 was included. Coming in at No. 63 is Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Josh Hines-Allen. He was No. 35 in 2024. Center Mitch Morse, the Jaguars' starter last season in the final year of his NFL career, said that players like Hines-Allen make him glad he wasn't a tackle. Tight end Evan Engram called him a "game-wrecker" in both against the run and rushing the passer. His sack production declined last season. After 17.5 sacks in 2023 with 17 tackles for loss and 33 quarterback hits, making the Pro Bowl for the first time, he had eight sacks, 10 tackles for loss and 19 quarterback hits last season. The Cardinals will host the Jaguars in 2025 in Week 12. Luckily, they have the tackle quality to be able to handle or at least limit him. NFL Top 100: Arizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride is No. 65 in 2025

After a 111-catch season in 2024, McBride makes his debut in the 'NFL Top 100.' NFL Top 100 Players of 2025:@AZCardinals TE Trey McBride snags No. 65! @NFLFilms The Arizona Cardinals now have two players in this year's edition of the "NFL Top 100," the yearly ranking of the top 100 player in the league, as voted on by the players themselves. New outside linebacker Josh Sweat made his debut in the top 100 at No. 95. Cardinals player No. 2 to make the list is no surprise. It is tight end Trey McBride, who had a career season in 2024. He comes in at No. 65, making his top 100 debut. Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love said that McBride deserved a spot in the top 100 "because of his production alone this year." He had 111 receptions for 1,146 yards. He trailed only Brock Bowers in receptions and receiving yards by a tight end. Love mentioned the many hurdles that McBride had last season, which increased his yards per catch. "Breaking tackles, getting extra yardage, playing with swag, playing with energy — he's a problem," he said. McBride said the leaping in the air is "just a reaction," especially since defensive backs often try to tackle him low. "I don't recommend it by any means," he added. When the Cardinals played the Green Bay Packers last season, safety Xavier McKinney didn't know much about McBride. After he had eight receptions for 96 yards in the loss to the Packers, he realized that "he is legit." McKinney said McBride reminds him of a younger version of San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittle, who happens to be the only tight end getting paid more. What is next for McBride in 2025? It will be hard to top what he did last season. Get more Cardinals and NFL coverage from Cards Wire's Jess Root and others by listening to the latest on the Rise Up, See Red podcast. Seahawks DL Leonard Williams named to \

NFL Top 100 Players of 2025:@Seahawks DL Leonard Williams lands at No. 99! #NFLTop100 @NFLFilms Seattle Seahawks veteran defensive lineman Leonard Williams is aging like fine wine. Williams was terrific in 2024, recording 64 tackles and 11.5 sacks, the second-most QB takedowns in his 10-year career. He qualified for his second Pro Bowl as a result. The accolades have consistently rolled in for Williams this offseason as a result. He was No. 99 on the NFL's Top 100 list, and was also named the sixth-best defensive tackle in the NFL by ESPN. With training camp starting around the league, CBS Sports recently released an article outlining the top 30 players in the NFL aged 30 or older. Williams clocked in at No. 14 overall. "Another one of the game's underrated players, Williams has been one of the premier interior pass rushers for several years now," Jeff Kerr wrote. "He finished with 55 pressures, 28 quarterback hits and 11.0 sacks last season -- earning a Pro Bowl nod. There's a case to be made that Williams should have been an All-Pro in 2024. He's thriving in Mike Macdonald's defensive scheme." Leonard should enjoy another big-time season in Mike Macdonald's scheme this year. The Seahawks upgraded their defense this offseason, adding exciting talents like DeMarcus Lawrence and Nick Emmanwori. Continuity and personnel upgrades should help Williams be dominant again in 2025.

NFL Top 100: Packers QB Jordan Love, Cardinals' Week 7 opponent in 2025, is No. 68

Packers QB Jordan Love, in the 'NFL Top 100' for the second consecutive year, faces the Cardinals again in 2025. The NFl is in its fourth week revealing players in the "NFL Top 100." This week, in reverse order, players 61-70 will be known. On Tuesday, another player the Arizona Cardinals will face in 2025 was announced. Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is player No. 68. He was No. 34 last year. Minnesota Viking safety Cam Bynum said that Love "has a really good deep ball, and also he's able to turn up in a game." Vikings running back Aaron Jones, who was Love's teammate prior to 2024, spoke of his ability to get rid of the ball quickly and his intelligence. Love shredded the Cardinals in his first-ever start against them last season. He threw four touchdown passes in a 34-13 win in Green Bay. It was one of the Cardinals' worst games of the year. He played in 15 games last season, passing for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Cardinals will travel to Green Bay for the second straight year, playing the Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 7. NFL Top 100: 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey No. 73, will face Cardinals twice in 2025

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey is No. 73 in 'NFL Top 100' and will face the Cardinals twice in 2025. Last week, the NFL had its third week of revealing players in the "NFL Top 100." After two players were revealed on Monday and another on Tuesday the Arizona Cardinals will face in 2025, a fourth was revealed later in the week, one who will see the Cardinals twice in 2025. That would be San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. Despite playing in four games last season, he was still ranked No. 73 after being the No. 3 player in the top 100 in 2024. Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun recalled how bad a game he had against McCaffrey years ago. "He's a tough tackle," he said, recalling how he missed three or four tackles against McCaffrey in that game. It made him question whether he could cut it as a full-time defensive player. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley said, "you have to account for him in so many ways, physical and pass pro. He can run routes like a receiver." McCaffrey's quarterback, Brock Purdy, called him "Mr. Do-it-all." He only had 202 yards in four games last season, but he has been a Cardinals killer. In seven career games against the Cardinals, he is 6-1 against them and has 580 rushing yards and five touchdowns, and he has caught 44 passes for 426 yards and another five scores. That is 1,006 total yards and 10 total touchdowns. The Cardinals face the 49ers in Week 3 and Week 11.
