NGN International, a leading Bahraini technology company, has received CREST accreditation, a globally recognized certification for cybersecurity excellence. This milestone follows the company's successful completion of the CREST Cybersecurity Accelerated Maturity Programme (CAMP), which assesses and enhances cybersecurity capabilities. NGN was awarded the 'Crest Pathway+' accreditation during a ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, which was held alongside the Ramadan Ghabga event, which was hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST). Over the three-month program, NGN underwent a rigorous evaluation of its Security Operations Centre (SOC) capabilities, Vulnerability Assessment, and Penetration Testing (VAPT). The assessments were conducted in collaboration with CREST-approved mentors, ensuring alignment with global cybersecurity standards. Additionally, NGN's SOC team participated in specialized training sessions at the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology and successfully completed the CREST Practitioner Security Analyst (CPSA) examination. Yaqoob Al Awadhi, CEO of NGN International, highlighted the significance of this achievement: 'We take immense pride in receiving CREST accreditation, which reflects our unwavering commitment to advancing cybersecurity services. This milestone recognizes the exceptional skills of our team and strengthens our position as a leader in Bahrain and the wider region's ICT sector. We remain committed to investing in talent and enhancing our capabilities to deliver agile, industry-specific cybersecurity solutions.' Al Awadhi expressed gratitude to Sh. Salman Bin Mohammed AlKhalifa, head of the NCSC, Dr. Abdulla AlNoaimi of the NCST, and the NGN team for their collective efforts in securing this accreditation. CREST, a UK-based non-profit, sets international standards for cybersecurity professionals and organizations. Its CAMP initiative enhances cybersecurity capacities globally by connecting service providers with leading cybersecurity expertise. Through this program, NGN reinforces its role in protecting digital ecosystems and promoting cybersecurity excellence in Bahrain and beyond. 0 0
