Trump secures record-shattering $1.4B for political war chest; will be 'dominant force' for GOP in midterms
EXCLUSIVE: President Trump has secured commitments for a record-shattering $1.4 billion since Election Day 2024, Fox News Digital has learned, with advisors saying he will be "an even more dominant force" for Republicans in the 2026 midterms. The president's political operation, including the cash-on-hand at the Republican National Committee, has raised a historic $900 million since November, and commitments that will bring the total to more than $1.4 billion. Fox News Digital has learned that the funds will be used to help Republicans to keep the House and Senate majorities. Republicans currently control the House with a 220-215 majority, and control the Senate with a 53-47. Sources say the funds will also be used for whatever the president deems "necessary and appropriate." "After securing a historic victory in his re-election campaign in 2024, President Trump has continued to break records, including fundraising numbers that have positioned him to be an even more dominant force going into the midterms and beyond," President Trump's senior advisor and National Finance Director Meredith O'Rourke told Fox News Digital. The president headlined a major donor event in Washington D.C. in April for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), which is the House GOP's campaign arm. That fundraiser hauled in at least $10 million for the NRCC, a source familiar with the event told Fox News. In March, Vice President JD Vance was tapped to serve as the RNC Finance Chair—the first time in the history of the GOP that a sitting vice president served in the role. Vance pledged to work to "fully enact the MAGA mandate" and grow the Republican majority in Congress in 2026.

Democratic congressman hurls profanity-laced message at Stephen Miller
A Democratic lawmaker hurled profanity at White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller on Wednesday, going on to imply that Miller is a Nazi. Rep. Mark Pocan, D-Wisc., made the statement on social media in response to some of Miller's commentary on New York City. Miller was discussing democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani's victory in the Democratic primary for New York City's mayoral election, saying unchecked immigration was a major contributor to the city's leftward slide in recent years. "NYC is the clearest warning yet of what happens to a society when it fails to control migration," Miller wrote. Pocan chimed in: "Racist ****. Go back to 1930's Germany." What Mamdani Is Pledging To Do If He Becomes New York City's Next Mayor Pocan weighed in on Mamdani's win multiple times, lashing out at another user who claimed the democratic nominee, who is Muslim, supports "Sharia Law." Read On The Fox News App "I love watching MAGA nut jobs spinning total bull**** to overcome blatant racism and xenophobia," Pocan responded to the post. "People want progressive populism that focuses on making their lives better, not redistribution of wealth from working people to the wealthiest. Trumpism is on the decline." Republicans have capitalized on Mamdani's victory as evidence of the extremism of the current Democratic Party. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) was among the first to make the connection. "The new face of the Democrat Party just dropped, and it's straight out of a socialist nightmare," they wrote in an email. Aiming to tie House Democrats to Mamdani, NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella argued that "every vulnerable House Democrat will own him, and every Democrat running in a primary will fear him." Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, a top ally of President Donald Trump who is seriously considering a run for Empire State governor next year, also pounced. Stefanik claimed that "a radical, Defund-the-Police, Communist, raging Antisemite will most likely win the New York City Democrat Mayoral primary." Vice President JD Vance also weighed in, writing, "Congratulations to the new leader of the Democratic Party" in a post on Blue Sky, a social media platform frequented by progressives. Republicans use Mamdani bombshell victory over Cuomo as ammunition to blast Democrats as extremists
The political earthquake that rocked the nation's most populous city may prove to be a gift for Republicans aiming to paint Democrats as extreme radicals ahead of next year's midterm elections. As democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old state assembly member from Queens who is originally from Uganda, was on his way to topping former three-term New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the rest of the large field in New York City's Democratic mayoral primary, Republicans pounced. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) was one of the first out of the gate to capitalize on the leftward lurch, firing off an email release that claimed, "the new face of the Democrat Party just dropped, and it's straight out of a socialist nightmare." Aiming to tie House Democrats to Mamdani, NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella argued that "every vulnerable House Democrat will own him, and every Democrat running in a primary will fear him." Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, a top ally of President Donald Trump who is seriously considering a run for Empire State governor next year, also pounced. Stefanik claimed that "a radical, Defund-the-Police, Communist, raging Antisemite will most likely win the New York City Democrat Mayoral primary." Even Vice President JD Vance got into the game, writing, "Congratulations to the new leader of the Democratic Party" in a post on Blue Sky, a social media platform frequented by progressives. Veteran Republican strategist Colin Reed told Fox News that "the Democratic Party's trying to convince people that the tail is not wagging the dog, and they don't answer to the more extreme elements of their party. Now, that entire effort is undercut by a socialist winning handily in a bellwether election to determine who's going to run America's largest city." "It's a messaging nightmare that's going to unfold in real time from now until the midterms," Reed said. Mamdani, riding a wave of support from progressive and younger voters that boosted him from a one-time long shot, stormed to victory over Cuomo, who resigned from the governor's office in 2021 amid multiple scandals and was aiming for a political comeback. "Tonight is his night. He deserved it. He won," Cuomo, who for weeks had painted Mamdani as an inexperienced far-left politician, said in a concession speech. Mamdani – who has proposed eliminating bus fares across New York City, making City University of New York tuition-free, freezing rents on municipal housing, and providing "free childcare" for children up to age 5 – was energized by recent endorsements after winning endorsements from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders, two leading voices of the progressive movement. "In our New York, the power belongs to the people," Mamdani said after declaring victory. New York City's mayoral primary campaign played out as the Democratic Party works to escape from the political wilderness, following last year's elections, when the party lost control of the White House, the Senate majority and failed to win back control of the House from the GOP. It also came as the party works to resist Trump's sweeping and controversial second-term agenda. Political analysts said the results of the primary would be seen as a barometer of which way the Democratic Party is headed, toward the center if Cuomo had won and toward the left if Mamdani was victorious. "Zohran Mamdani's likely victory shows that a new direction for the Democratic Party is possible – a future of dynamic candidates who appeal to young voters and working-class voters with a platform that fights for people, not corporations," Stephanie Taylor, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, said in a statement. Pointing to endorsements of Cuomo earlier this month by former President Bill Clinton and former three-term New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, she charged that "the old guard establishment of the Democratic Party, fueled by billionaires, did everything they could to defeat Mamdani – and they failed. They continue being wrong about everything, and they need to get out of the way and let a new generation lead." However, ahead of the primary, the moderate Democrat-aligned group Third Way said in a memo they were "deeply alarmed" over the prospect of a Mamdani victory. "A Mamdani win for such a high-profile office would be a devastating blow in the fight to defeat Trumpism," the group argued.

SCOOP: House Republicans target 'vulnerable' Democrats for voting against tax cuts in 'big, beautiful bill'
Print Close By Paul Steinhauser Published June 23, 2025 FIRST ON FOX – The House Republican campaign committee is taking aim at congressional Democrats whom they charge are "pushing the largest tax hike in generations." As part of their aggressive messaging following the passage last month of the GOP's landmark spending and tax cut bill – dubbed by President Donald Trump as his "big, beautiful bill" – the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is launching ads on Monday against 25 House Democrats who likely face challenging re-elections in the 2026 midterms. "Democrats jacked up inflation, making life more expensive for all of us. We need help. Now, they're pushing the largest tax hike in generations," charges the narrator in the digital ads, which were shared first with Fox News. The narrator argues that the Democrats being targeted in the ads are "completely out of touch" and urges viewers of the spots to tell the Democratic lawmakers to keep their "hands off your hard-earned money." FIRST ON FOX: TRUMP-ALIGNED GROUP LAUNCHES SECOND ACT IN PUSH TO PASS 'BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL' The bill passed the House of Representatives last month by just one vote, along partisan lines. And Trump is pushing for a July 4 deadline for the measure to pass through Congress and land on his desk at the White House. The GOP-crafted measure is stuffed full of Trump's campaign trail promises and second-term priorities on tax cuts, immigration, defense, energy and the debt limit. It includes extending his signature 2017 tax cuts, which are set to sunset this year without action by Congress – and eliminating taxes on tips and overtime pay. But the measure, if signed into law, would likely even further fuel the nation's massive budget deficit. The national debt currently sits at $36,215,397,741,847.76 as of June 18, according to FOX Business' National Debt Tracker. FOX NEWS POLL: WHAT AMERICANS THINK ABOUT THE ECONOMY AND TRUMP'S 'BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL' The spots, backed by a modest ad buy, are targeting California Democrats Josh Harder (9th District), Adam Gray (13th), George Whitesides (27th), Derek Tran (45th) and Dave Min (47th), and Florida's Darren Soto (9th) and Jared Moskowitz (23rd). Also included are Reps. Frank Mrvan (1st) of Indiana, Jared Golden (2nd) of Maine, Kristen McDonald Rivet (8th) of Michigan, Don Davis (1st) of North Carolina, Nellie Pou (9th) of New Jersey, Gabe Vasquez (2nd) of New Mexico, Dina Titus (1st), and Susie Lee (3rd), and Steven Horsford (4th) of Nevada. The NRCC ads also take aim at Reps. Tom Suozzi (3rd), Laura Gillen (4th) and Josh Riley (19th) of New York, Marcy Kaptur (9th) and Emilia Sykes (13th) of Ohio, Henry Cuellar (28th) and Vicente Gonzalez (34th) of Texas, Eugene Vindman (7th) of Virginia, and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (3rd) of Washington state. Democrats are working to win back control of the House in next year's midterms, as the GOP defends its razor-thin majority in the chamber. "Out of touch House Democrats lit the fire of inflation and tried to slap Americans with the biggest tax hike in decades, all to fund their radical agenda. Voters won't forget this betrayal – not now, not next November," NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella claimed. FIRST ON FOX: THESE REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS SAY THEY 'STAND UNITED' IN SUPPORT OF TRUMP'S 'ONE BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL' A memo last month by the NRCC encouraged House Republicans to make the tax cuts a priority as they defended their votes on the tax and spending bill, and to take aim at Democrats for pushing to raise taxes on average Americans. The memo highlighted that the bill "prevents tax increases to put more money in every American's pocket." As Democrats attack the bill, they're highlighting the GOP's proposed restructuring of Medicaid – the nearly 60-year-old federal program that provides health coverage to roughly 71 million low-income Americans. The changes to Medicaid , as well as cuts to food stamps, another one of the nation's major safety net programs, were drafted in part as an offset to pay for extending Trump's 2017 tax cuts. The measure includes a slew of new rules and regulations, including work requirements for many of those seeking Medicaid coverage. CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP Democrats have relentlessly attacked Republicans over what they say will be "huge cuts" to Medicaid if the bill becomes law. But the NRCC pushes back, saying in its memo that it is "protecting Medicaid by removing illegal immigrants and eliminating fraud." Print Close URL
