Justin Timberlake slammed for doing 'bare minimum' at his concerts
Justin Timberlake has left some fans demanding a 'refund' after he appeared to have stopped signing at his live shows. The American singer rose to fame as part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club in the 1990s, going on to join the hugely successful boyband NSYNC, who sold over 70 million units worldwide. After the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2002, Justin pursued a solo career, releasing the chart-topping albums Justified and FutureSex/LoveSounds, which included hits like Cry Me a River, Rock Your Body and SexyBack. He was dubbed the 'Prince of Pop', has 10 Grammy Awards, and is now one of the best-selling musicians of all time. Last year Justin, 44, embarked on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, his first in five years. Although it officially ended in February this year, it was quickly followed by an extension that has included festivals and one-off concerts titled 'JT Live 2025'. But just a few days before his last scheduled show in Istanbul, Turkey, on July 30, Justin has drawn the ire of some concertgoers. Last week Justin played at the Electric Castle festival in Romania, but soon after he was called out for signing very little of his track Can't Stop the Feeling live. In the clip, posted on TikTok, he was seen putting the hood of his jacket on as rain started pouring down as he sung the first few lines of the song. He then made hand gestures and walked across the stage to amp them up but only went on to sing a few parts of the song and heavily relied on the crowd to pick up the slack. Just before the clip ended, he was then seen walking towards his band and telling the audience to 'sing, c',mon'. 'When you pay for a concert but get a mute singer. Due took a day off on stage…,' the fan captioned their post. Many people weighed in, including others who were there and joked about the singer 'making them do all the work'. 'When you pay for a concert but get a mute singer,' one quipped. 'This is not even bare minimum,' someone else commented. 'I want a refund, and I didn't even go,' another added. 'That ticket would be a credit card dispute SO FAST,' one person also wrote. Soon after many other people started sharing videos taken at other concerts in which Justin barely sang the song too. More Trending Addressing the singer, one frustrated fan wrote on TikTok: 'Dude they're not paying to have a karaoke session with you.' Justin is next scheduled to perform in Georgia tonight, followed by shows in Azerbaijan and Turkey later this week. Away from the studio and stage, Justin has also appeared in a string of movies too, including Love Guru, The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends with Benefits and Palmer. Fuming Justin Timberlake screams at stage crew as performance is riddled with ‘embarrassing' issues
Justin Timberlake was seen screaming at his stage crew during his performance at the Lytham Festival in Lytham St Annes, England, earlier this month. The pop star seemed to lose his cool when his set was cut short due to a sound issue, according to a fan video shared via TikTok. In the clip, Timberlake was approached by two crew members who seemingly told him it was going to take a while to fix the issue. Visibly upset, Timberlake seemed to raise his voice at the two men while shaking his head and making angry hand gestures. Ironically, he was in the middle of singing his 2002 break-up anthem, Cry Me A River, which is rumoured to be about his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. Despite the festival's crowd cheering for Timberlake as he spoke into the microphone, several netizens called out the *NYSNC star's behaviour, with one writing via X, 'HOW EMBARRASSING!!' 'Justin Timberlakes audio CUTS OFF right as he performs his Britney Spears hate anthem 'Cry Me A River.' I'm not saying he deserved it, but gods [sic] timing is always right. Cry ME a river Justin.' 'Losing it with your support crew is considered highly unprofessional in the world of stage performance,' another added in the comments of a TikTok video. Others begged lip-readers to transcribe what Timberlake was telling his crew, with one person writing, 'I want to know what they're talking [about].' However, many supporters rushed to defend Timberlake, with one saying, 'He hardly looks like he's losing it. Just annoyed. I would be too.' 'I don't blame him for being a bit peeved,' another chimed in. 'He's trying to entertain his fans that [sic] paid money to see him.' 'I'd be mad too damn,' a third agreed. A rep for Timberlake did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. Timberlake took the stage in the UK after cancelling his final Forget Tomorrow World Tour stop in Ohio back in February. At the time, the hit maker claimed that he had the flu, but fans were infuriated after several allegedly received the cancellation notice 15 minutes before showtime. The Mirrors singer is currently in Europe for his tour, which is set to conclude in Turkey on July 30.

The Pop Idol star, now 40, showed off his ripped physique in a steamy poster for Boybands in the Buff, a naughty new stage show set to tour the UK next year. Gareth, who shot to fame on the ITV talent show back in 2002, will join a cast of 'ripped and ridiculously talented performers' for what's being billed as 'the ultimate throwback concert.' Promoters tease fans can expect a night where there's 'so much going on, and coming off'. They promise: 'With nothing but harmonies, dance moves, and a whole lot of skin, the boys belt out the biggest hits of the 90s and 00s, from Backstreet Boys to NSYNC, Blue to Take That, in a show that's as nostalgic as it is naughty.' In an Instagram post, Gareth told fans 'I cannot wait to join the cast of Boyband in the Buff! Touring the whole of the UK throughout 2026, click the link in my bio for the tour list. My parents always used to listen to them so it's been drummed into me as a child. And then I've done a few shows in the past, which has been based around the music, so to produce my own version of the show is great.'

'7th Heaven''s Beverley Mitchell remembers when costar Jessica Biel started dating Justin Timberlake: 'If he hurts her, I'll kill him'
Beverley Mitchell, who you may remember best as Lucy Camden on 7th Heaven, popped by to chat with Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle on their Pod Meets World podcast. It was a celebration of all things retro and '90s with this crew, especially when Mitchell started talking about her costar and pal Jessica Biel. Biel, as we're sure you know, played Mitchell's older sister Mary Camden on the first six seasons of the series, popping in for guest shots during the remaining five seasons. As it happens, during Mitchell's madcap youth she became quite close with the gents in the boy band NSYNC, which included the future Mr. Biel, Justin Timberlake. She described some of her early adventures, especially ones involving the group's "Challenge for the Children" charity events, that Fishel was also present for. "I think one of my most favorite memories was, we were all underage in Las Vegas, running around doing a scavenger hunt. And when I say like scavenger hunt, I mean all over the Vegas Strip. I think I was on Joey [Fatone]'s team — running through the Vegas Strip with NSYNC like hooligans." She continued, "We did it in Miami also, and at that point Cameron Diaz was there. Gabrielle Union. All these superstars running around unleashed, at a time where, like, the cell phone pictures were on a flip phone. We were able to have this kind of freedom to be wild and crazy, but those friendships were just so genuine." Both Mitchell and Fishel reminisced about how the bodyguards NSYNC hired were also all incredibly fun, and Mitchell noted that she was still good friends with the fellas from the band, adding, "And it's very funny that one of them ended up marrying my best friend." She continued, "I gave Jessie so much crap because she used to make fun of me. She would be like, 'You're hanging out with the NSYNC boys,' and I'm like, 'Dude, they're fun, we have fun.' And she used to think I was so silly and lame and now you're married to one." Reflecting on how two people close to her hooked up (and have stayed married for nearly 13 years), she said that "when they first started dating [Timberlake's mother] Miss Lynn was like, 'Okay, Bev, tell me about her. And I was like, 'If he hurts her, I'll kill him.' About her old 7th Heaven costar, Mitchell said, "She is my sister."
