But several recent concerts have made waves this summer for reasons unrelated to the music. In fact, some of the biggest pop culture moments of the season so far have taken place at concerts, from a major 'kiss cam' scandal to a pop star who doesn't appear to be singing much. Multiple videos posted on social media this month from different shows across the tour show the 'SexyBack' artist singing a few bars before holding out the mic for the audience to take the rest of a verse. During a July 17 performance at Transylvania's Electric Castle festival, fans who waited in the rain for JT later accused him of giving a middling performance. In an Instagram post, Timberlake thanked fans for attending the 'wild show' and 'rockin' with me in the rain,' but many fans expressed their disappointment in the comments. 'Not THAT wild of a show … and I'm a huge fan,' one wrote. 'The delay I got, I accepted it, but the part with you not singing even your most famous verses.. nope, I did not. Us in the crowd wanted to hear you sing the songs we played at home over and over again and danced on so many times, but unfortunately you did not deliver this time.' Another commenter wrote that they bought tickets to the festival just for Timberlake and 'waited patiently' for the show to start even after a 'big delay.' However, they wrote, 'something happened.' 'You did not click with the crowd, the show felt soulless and bored, ended abruptly and earlier,' the commenter continued. 'It was disrespectful towards the many thousands of people waiting for you. Too bad, could have been a nice evening.' Still, others defended Timberlake, arguing that it seemed clear — at least at the Electric Castle festival performance — that the Social Network actor was under the weather. When a couple showed up on the "kiss cam" and then ducked out of view immediately, Martin joked that they were either 'having an affair' or 'just very shy.' Turns out, Martin was correct. The internet did its thing and quickly discovered the identities of the people at the concert, the CEO of tech firm Astronomer, Andy Byron, and his chief people officer, Kristin Cabot. Both are married to other people. The awkward moment sparked endless memes as well as conversations about privacy in today's digital age. Beyoncé is left hanging after a concert malfunction Perry isn't the only pop star who was left dangling onstage due to a faulty prop. Beyoncé's July 28 concert in her hometown of Houston ended abruptly after the flying car prop she was seated in while singing '16 Carriages' malfunctioned, leaving her suspended and tilted in midair. After stopping the song, Beyoncé was eventually lowered and able to get out of the car safely. She even returned to finish performing the hit track from her Cowboy Carter album after a brief pause backstage.

Aussie men's netball team captain reveals shocking backlash for viral dance
Aussie men's netball team captain Liam Forcadilla has opened up about the shocking extent of abuse his side endured after their viral dance routine at the World FAST5 Championships in New Zealand last October. The Aussie side, known as the Kelpies, got the crowd on their feet at the tournament with moves staged to NSync's Bye Bye Bye, which quickly went viral with millions of views. The crowd in Christchurch's Wolfbrook Arena responded well to the choreographed moves - and commentators also lapped it up. Forcadilla says it was the next day that the team realised that they were copping shocking abuse online. 'We had the two games on the Saturday, and we did the dance in the morning, so there wasn't much time to look on our phones,' Forcadilla told News Corp. 'After, it had been posted by many news outlets and had really gone viral, and there were some really great and positive comments. The team coach called Forcadilla the following day and informed him of the extent of the backlash. Abuse included homophobic slurs, threats, personal attacks and some racism across different social media platforms. It was decided that the side would avoid their phones until they had played South Africa. 'It was never about a dance and going viral. We've had a job to do and that was to win a gold medal for our country,' he said. 'But it wasn't just about like protecting our space and making sure that we had a job to focus on. It was also the fact that we had a 15-year-old in our team. 'We had a boy who was 18 who was doing his HSC in between our games. It was about protecting them.' Forcadilla explained that many viewers wouldn't have understood that the FAST5 series is meant to be fast and fun, unlike regular netball. The hateful abuse the team received marred the occasion for the entire squad. 'It definitely got to a point where it was a little bit overwhelming,' Forcadilla said. 'It's something that I wasn't quite used to. And I think that it was more that I felt like I had a responsibility to do and say the right thing and to educate people on what it is that we do and who we are. 'And I think that's the thing that was maybe the heaviest.' The Aussie skipper has challenged detractors to educate themselves on the sport and to come and watch a game. 'I'd love for them to come down and watch a game,' he said. 'I guarantee you will be impressed by our athleticism, how we interpret netball, and we will show you that it's not just a game for women, it's a game for men as well.'

Silas' little brother, Phineas, joined the family sometime in summer 2020 and made sure his famous parents had no time to sleep. 'He's awesome and so cute. Nobody's sleeping. But we're thrilled. We're thrilled and couldn't be happier. Very grateful," Justin said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in January 2021. Five months later, Jessica agreed that it seemed like they kept the birth of their youngest son a secret, but that wasn't the case. 'I had, like, a secret COVID baby. It wasn't like it was supposed to be a secret. It was, just COVID happened, and then I went to Montana with my family and never left," the Candy star explained on the "Armchair Expert" podcast. More recently, Justin celebrated Father's Day in 2021 while honoring those who showed him how to be a good father. 'Being a dad is better than I ever could have imagined,' he wrote via Instagram. Kylie Minogue called him her 'delightful scruff from Essex' and with few male models ever becoming household names, the fame afforded by dating one of the world's biggest popstars should have been a dream come true for James Gooding. However, the model turned-photographer, now 50, admitted to cheating on the singer during their on-off relationship, and later branded her a 'self-obsessed, virtually friendless control freak' in a scathing tell-all interview. 'I fear she's going to end up a lonely spinster with only a cat for company,' he said of the singer, now 56, who he also accused of 'ruining' his life, while also holding her responsible for a drinks and drugs bender at the end of their three-year relationship that resulted in a stint in rehab. But while Gooding, who was once Britain's highest-paid male model, had harsh words for Kylie, his own dalliances were equally unflattering in their verdicts on his character. Martine McCutcheon said he was 'cheap and disgusting,' while another ex, singer Victoria Harrison, called him a 'pathetic loser'. Slightly more forgiving was a female admirer who admitted: 'You don't know whether to slap him or snog him'. These seemed like prophetic words when Sadie Frost, who dated the model after Kylie, was cautioned for assaulting him in October 2012. James first met Kylie backstage at the Brit Awards in March 2000 and in 2002, they announced their relationship was over. Gooding turned up hoping for a reconciliation with the Australian singer. Despite claiming she had ruined his life, the model boasted he had cheated on her with model Sophie Dahl after flying out to see her in New York. He had also been unfaithful with Davinia Taylor, former star of Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. 'I've been lucky enough to have made love with many beautiful women but Kylie was a really special relationship. After making love with Sophie I was racked with guilt - so much so that I flew straight back to London,' he said. Despite his own behaviour, he claimed that the relationship had driven him to drink and drugs. 'Bit by bit, the pressure of the relationship had stripped away layers and left me an emotional wreck, and I turned to alcohol and drugs for comfort. Kylie's wrecked my life,' he said. His resentment over his split with the star was clearly evident in everything he said, including: 'This was the woman who nearly pushed me over the edge. None of her public saw that side of her and even I was stunned by the full force of her selfishness. 'Her obsession with success completely did my head in.' After their split and the scene at the Brits he held a vigil outside Kylie's Chelsea house before going on a drugs bender, and ending up spending 10 days in rehab at Farm Place Clinic in Surrey. 'Rehab was a scary and positive experience,' he said previously, 'If everyone just stopped and looked at themselves, the world would be a better place.' In a 2003 interview with The Telegraph, he denied being addict but said that the stint had been valuable. He admitted: 'It was good, it was scary, it was a real eye-opener for me. 'My head was a bit messed up. And my father was a heavy alcoholic, so I thought there was definitely a part of me that could go down that road.' Following his split from Kylie, James moved on with another high profile name - Sadie Frost. The pair dated from 2012 to 2013, and had a bump in the road where Sadie was cautioned for assaulting the model in October 2012. Sources said Sadie was convinced that James was still in love with ex Kylie and their separation was a 'sore' subject for Sadie at the time. Friends said Sadie believed Kylie was the love of her ex's life. 'She just knows – you can always tell with something like that,' - a pal told The Telegraph. Now a photographer, producer and director, James has put his love rat ways behind him. His LinkedIn profile reads: 'I excel in leading creative initiatives, managing strategic partnerships, and driving global teams, with notable skills in content production, team leadership, and revenue growth.' As well as an impressive CV of directing and producing, he also volunteered at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services for two years between 2017 and 2019. It's a far cry from the person who once, speaking of Kylie, said: 'I fear she's going to end up a lonely spinster with only a cat for company.' In a 2012 interview with The Standard, speaking of his public split with the star, with he admitted: 'I was in a situation I had no control over. It was a very difficult time. I'm glad it's over. 'I wanted to draw a line under it and move on. That part of my life is over. I want to distance myself from it.'
