NTPC Green declares commercial operation of additional 32.8 MW at Khavda Solar Energy Project
NTPC Green Energy announced that consequent upon successful commissioning, the second part capacity of 32.8 MW out of 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project at Khavda, Bhuj, Gujarat under 450 MW Hybrid Tranche-V Project of NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of 30 June 2025. The first part capacity of 142.2 MW of aforesaid Solar Energy Project has already been declared on commercial operation w.e.f. 28 June 2025.

NTPC Green Energy commissions further 64.7 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project
NTPC Green Energy announced that consequent upon successful commissioning, third part capacity of 64.7 MW out of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project of NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy in Gujarat under CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of 30 June 2025. The first part capacity of 110.25 MW and second part capacity of 146.7 MW of aforesaid Solar PV Project has already been declared on commercial operation w.e.f. 06 June 2025 and 28 June 2025 respectively.

NTPC Renewable Energy fully commissions 220-MW Shajapur Solar project
State-owned power giant NTPC on Sunday said that its step down subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy has fully commissioned 220-MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-II) after operationalising third and last part capacity of 120 MW. The NTPC Renewable Energy is an arm of NTPC Green Energy , which is a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd . According to a regulatory filing, consequent to successful commissioning of third and last part capacity of 120 MW out of 220 MW, Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-II) of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Ltd at Shajapur, MP, is declared as commercially operational with effect from June 29.

NTPC Group installed capacity stands at 80,265 MW post commissioning of 110.25 MW solar supply
Power giant NTPC on Friday said its group installed generation capacity stood at 80,265 MW after its step-down arm NTPC Renewable Energy began 110.25 MW commercial supply from 1255 MW Khavda solar project . In a regulatory filing, the company said consequent upon successful commissioning, first part capacity of 110.25 MW out of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd , a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy , is declared on Commercial Operation "w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of June 6, 2025". NTPC Green Energy is a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd. With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group stood at 80,265 MW, the filing said.
