Woman fights off stranger who tried to rape her at NYC bus stop
A woman bravely fought off a COVID-mask wearing creep who tried to rape her at a Queens bus stop, police said. The 26-year-old woman was at the corner of Woodhaven Boulevard and Hoffman Drive in Elmhurst around 4:30 a.m. Friday when the stranger approached her from behind and slapped her on the butt, a police source said. After briefly walking away, the man returned and grabbed her by the wrists, pinning her against a fence while lifting her skirt and trying to rape her, the source said. A perv was wearing a blue surgical mask when he allegedly tried to rape a woman waiting for a bus. The woman fought off her attacker, who fled into the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station. The attacker was described as a tall, thin man with a dark complexion who's between 20 and 30 years old. A 2-year-old Bronx boy disappeared over the weekend – and cops are now questioning his biological father, authorities and law-enforcement sources said. Little Montrell Williams was wearing only a white shirt and diaper when he vanished around 10 p.m. Saturday from an apartment building on Hunts Point Avenue and Gilbert Place in Hunts Point, cops said. Montrell was last seen with his dad, who has split custody with the boy's mom, sources said. The tot lives about a mile from where he was last seen. A stylish woman in heels and a leather jacket used scissors to stab an amateur photographer who accidently captured an image of her as he took photos in the West Village, cops said. The sunglasses and dress-wearing brunette flew into a Britney Spears-level paparazzi rage on Varick Street near West Houston Street around 4:20 p.m. May 5 as the 36-year-old victim was out shooting images for social media. NYC woman, 32, lucky to be alive after stranger tries to shoot her from behind, missing her by ‘a centimeter'
A 32-year-old Bronx woman is lucky to be alive after a stranger randomly fired a single round at the back of her head in broad daylight — miraculously missing her by 'a centimeter' as she turned her head away, cops said. The victim was walking home around 9 a.m. Friday when the unidentified hooded gunman approached her from behind on a University Heights street and brazenly pointed the weapon without saying a word, authorities said. The maniac then pulled the trigger – with a single slug just missing the victim as she moved her head out of its path, police said. A single round missed the victim — who the gunman randomly targeted — by just 'a centimeter,' cops said. The woman was not shot, but suffered injuries when she fell to the ground and hit her head, cops said. Police are investigating the shooting, which took place on West 183rd Street near Davidson Avenue, as an attempted murder. Authorities said the victim did not know the shooter. Cops on Wednesday released a photo of the maniac wearing all black, with the hood of his jacket pulled up over his head as he walked on the sidewalk. A heartless sicko fired a pellet gun at a woman holding a baby girl on Staten Island, police said. The 42-year-old victim was holding a 2-month-old infant outside of 127 Jerome Avenue in Arrochar just after 7 p.m. Friday when the creep fired the weapon from the passenger's seat of a silver sedan, striking the woman in the back, cops said. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention. The NYPD wasn't able to say if the baby was hurt. The perp – who was seen on surveillance footage wearing a bright orange jacket – was last seen headed westbound on Evergreen Avenue, cops said.
