Woman (20s) seriously injured following single-vehicle collision in Co Wicklow
A woman is seriously injured following a single-vehicle collision at Grange Beg, Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow. The collision happened on Wednesday at approximately 6.25 pm. Advertisement A female passenger of the car, aged in her 20s, was conveyed to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No other injuries were reported at the time. The road is currently open. A man aged in his 20s was arrested at the scene. He has since been released without charge. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the Grange Beg, Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow area between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday 9th July 2025 are asked to make it available to gardaí. Gardaí renew appeal for information in fatal Kildare hit-and-run
Gardaí are renewing an appeal for witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run incident in Robertstown, Co Kildare, on November 10th 2024. The collision, which involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, occurred on the R403 in Blackwood near Robertstown at 12.30 am. Advertisement The pedestrian, a 16-year-old boy, was fatally injured in the collision. Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward. In particular, gardaí are seeking to identify the driver of a motorcycle, not involved in the collision, who is understood to have passed the scene of the incident. It is believed the motorcyclist was travelling along the R403 from Prosperous to Allenwood. Any road users who were travelling in the vicinity of Prosperous, Allenwood, Carbury and Robertstown between 11.30pm on Saturday, 9th November 2024 and 3.30am on Sunday, 10th November 2024, and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
