Fox's Fall 2025 schedule revealed: 'Doc', 'The Simpsons' and more to release on these dates
Fox has officially revealed its lineup for the Fall 2025 TV season which promises a mix of new and returning series across various genres. From high-stakes dramas and fan-favorite animation to celebrity-packed game shows and sports programs, the network is giving its audience a diverse offering that kicks off on Monday, September 15. Second season of Doc is set to premiere on September 23, 2025.(X/@zuza_b255) 'Doc' and 'Murder in a Small Town' return The Fall season TV lineup includes the premiere of the acclaimed medical drama Doc. The second season of the show, starring Molly Parker, will start airing from September 23 at 9 PM ET. The medical drama sees a new face joining the cast: Felicity Huffman. The show's premiere follows the launch of Season 2 of crime drama Murder in a Small Town at 8 pm on the same day, Variety reported. Now being hosted by Jane Lynch, the show has moved from NBC and will air at 9 PM ET. According to Deadline, fan-favorite competition The Floor is returning with its fourth season, starting Wednesday, September 24. It will be hosted by Rob Lowe. Post that, viewers get to witness the debut of new competition series, 99 to Beat, co-hosted by Ken Jeong and Erin Andrews at 9 PM. What's more? Starting September 25, Thursday, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will be making a fiery return with Season 24 of Hell's Kitchen that will air at 8 PM ET and will be followed by the tough-as-nails reality show Special Forces: World's Toughest Test's Season 24 at 9 PM. Identifying different car makes and spotting unique number plates are also among the top choices for in-car entertainment. The top 20 list also features the Alphabet Game, where players come up with words from specific categories starting with consecutive letters, and the timeless Rock Paper Scissors. Other favourites include Name That Tune, Would You Rather, and even Truth or Dare. This news comes as Londoners playing 'Yellow Car' would have scored plenty, following sightings of five new Renault 5 E-Tech Electric vehicles touring iconic spots in the city. Each vehicle was decked out in Renault's signature yellow pop colourway, ensuring they stood out amidst the urban landscape. The coordinated quintet of cars was seen cruising by landmarks such as The Mall and Big Ben. Commenting on the findings, a spokesperson from the car manufacturer, which sponsored the research, said: "The nation will be taking to the roads this Bank Holiday weekend and I'm sure many will be playing at least one of these classic car games. While I-Spy might still be the most popular, Yellow Car is one that many will be familiar with. "Trying to spot a brightly coloured car while on the road can keep adults and children alike entertained and can help make any car journey go that little bit quicker. "So, having launched Renault 5 with the option of vibrant, fun colours, we wanted to play a real-life version of the Yellow Car game on the streets of London, so anyone driving past would have had a bumper load of cars to shout about." Research has also highlighted that for 67% of those engaged in vehicular games, it's all about wiling away the time and keeping tedium at bay, yet 43% admit these games help in brightening spirits. Furthermore, 16% of people turn to automotive games as a means to diminish their screen engagement or to avoid aimless phone scrolling. It has also come to light that 63% of adults experience a wave of nostalgia for their juvenile road trips through these games. Embarking on UK road trips surfaced as the prime occasion for initiating a game (53%), followed by outings such as day trips (41%) and when visiting kin (32%). Remarkably, 21% of adults continue the fun with mates in the car and 17% get into the spirit on the thrilling drive to the airport. Home and Away star Jason Smith and his wife Cassidy have welcomed a baby girl into this world. The veteran actor, 40, shared a photo to social media on Friday of his newborn daughter resting peacefully in her mother's arms, and captioned it with some heartfelt words. 'So excited to introduce our beautiful daughter and Felix's baby sister, Luka. 24.04.25. So proud of our family,' Jason wrote. The pair are also the proud parents to one-year-old Felix, who they welcomed in October 2023. Many of Jason's followers quickly took to the comment section to congratulate him on the joyful news. 'I'm so happy for you!' one person wrote and a second added: 'Congratulations. Only she can say my dad is a Power Ranger.' Jason appeared as Robbie Hunter on the long-running Channel Seven soap opera Home and Away from 2003 - 2006. He later starred as the Red Ranger on the New Zealand-filmed children's action series Power Rangers Jungle Fury and in The Mystery of Natalie Wood, opposite Colin Friels. He famously played Robbie Hunter on Home and Away from 2003 to 2006, alongside the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas. But he is no longer acting these days, and instead has a successful career behind the scenes in Australia and the United States. The 40-year-old was most recently the associate producer of Channel 10's zany reality show The Masked Singer Australia. Smith also served as a producer for the American music quiz show Name That Tune. Name That Tune aired on Fox in the U.S., but was filmed in Sydney in late 2020 due to Australia's comparatively lax Covid restrictions at the time. It was hosted by 30 Rock's Jane Krakowski and American Idol judge Randy Jackson. Smith's work also includes writing credits for Power Rangers Megaforce, and his old soap Home and Away from 2012 to 2013. In 2019, he hosted Home and Away's Christmas in Summer Bay TV special. That role was accompanied by a podcast series, which he also presented, featuring interviews with cast members. At about this time, he was asked on The Morning Show if he would consider ever returning to Summer Bay. 'If Robbie's evil twin brother Bobby wants to come back, I'm in,' he said. 'If the right storyline comes along, I'd love to come back.' 'Coming back to the show and walking through those doors of the Summer Bay house for the first episode gave me all the feels. It felt like I never left,' he added, referring to filming the TV special. In addition to his television work, Smith hosted Nova FM's Late Nights show for a year in 2016.
