She accused a veteran actor and a Bollywood mafia gang of threatening her, stating that they are trying to kill her. She also mentioned it's the same way Sushant Singh Rajput was threatened. What happened to Tanushree Dutta? A video was shared by Tanushree Dutta where she claimed she is being harassed in her own home – something that has reportedly been happening for the past 4-5 years. She mentioned hearing strange noises in the house. While she didn't name anyone in the video, in an interview, she has now alleged that Nana Patekar is behind the harassment. Tanushree Dutta makes shocking claims In an explosive interview, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of harassing her. Speaking to TV9 Marathi, she said, 'Strange things have been happening to me over the past four to five years. The brakes of my car were tampered with. After that, I realized someone was following me. Wherever I went, people would follow me. The projects I used to sign were taken away from me. Nana Patekar is involved in this harassment.' Tanushree Dutta relates to Sushant Singh Rajput In her interview, Tanushree Dutta also mentioned the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, saying that what happened to him is now happening to her. She stated, 'The people who are after me are connected to Nana Patekar and his Bollywood associates. They are the ones who have sent people to follow me. I suspect them. People would come to the hotels where I was staying and knock on my room door to harass me. On several occasions, I was even poisoned, and attempts were made to kill me by making me ill – but I survived.' Tanushree Dutta further said, 'The maid who worked in my house was also involved, as she used to mix something in my food. Because of that, my health kept deteriorating. I would remain unconscious for 17–18 hours at a stretch. They tried to drive me insane and kill me.' In an interview to News18 , Dutta urges the government to provide her security. 'This mafia is huge and dangerous, and I fear for my life just like Sushant must have', said the actress. What happened between Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar? In 2018, during the Me Too movement, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of harassing her. She said openly about the inappropriate conduct in 2008 and said he 'tried to sexually abuse' her while shooting a song sequence for Horn Ok Please in 2009. Dutta stated that although the song was supposed to be shot on a single actor, still Nana used to be present on the set. Tanushree had also filed a complaint with the Cine & TV Artists Association (CINTAA) in 2008. However, no action was taken since it was a criminal case. After criticising Nana for his statement calling her allegations false, Tanushree further accused him of 'criminal intimidation' and 'physical harm'. In 2019, the police dismissed all the allegations against Nana Patekar and he was given a clean chit.

Now, Tanushree, in an exclusive conversation with News18 India, opened up about what she has been facing over the years since she made #MeToo allegations against veteran actor Nana Patekar. Tanushree Dutta made headlines first back in 2018 when she accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of the film Horn Ok Please. She shared that while being on the sets of the 2008 film, Nana made unwanted advances towards her. Now, while talking to us, she revealed that ever since then, she has been facing 'suspicious activity" around her. 'I've been followed constantly. I've been harassed. A maid was planted in my house to spy on me," she alleged. The actress also revealed that she intends to approach the police regarding recent incidents, but also said that she has no wish to reopen the MeToo case. 'I'm not trying to reopen the old case. I only want action on the new incidents that are endangering my safety," she added. 'Ever since I spoke up against Nana Patekar, I've been followed wherever I go. Ever since, she has been complaining about harassment at her home and during her many temple visits. In a new video, the actress broke down as she claimed, 'I am being harassed in my own house. I just called the cops and they have asked me to come to the police station to lodge a proper complaint. I will probably go tomorrow or day after. I am not well. I have been harassed so much in the past five years that I have fallen sick.' The actress shared that these incidents have taken a toll on her. 'I am unable to work. My entire house has been messy. I can't hire maids because they plant them in my house. I have had terrible experience with maids who come in and steal and do other things. People bang the door of my house. I am being troubled, please help me.'
