Nani begins shooting for Srikanth Odela's The Paradise, 40-day schedule underway
The shooting of Telugu actor Nani and director Srikanth Odela's The Paradise' commenced on June 21. The actor joined the team on Saturday in Hyderabad. The makers of 'The Paradise' announced the latest development with a photo of the actor from the movie sets. 'The Paradise' has been making headlines ever since it was photo shared on the film's official social media pages is of Nani, dressed as his character Dhagad, placing his foot on stacked weight plates overlooking the place. One can't help but notice the fancy watch anklet and green leather shoes he is the photo, the makers wrote, "Dhagad joins the #TheParadise. In cinemas 26-03-2026 (sic)." Here's the post: The filming of 'The Paradise' began on June 21 with the makers shooting a few childhood portions for a week. With Nani joining the team, a 40-day schedule is currently underway. Prominent scenes featuring the lead cast will be shot in this and Srikanth Odela worked on 'Dasara', which tasted massive success at the box office. 'The Paradise' is their second collaboration. The makers are yet to announce the complete cast and by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, the film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. 'The Paradise' will release in theatres on March 26 in eight languages, namely Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, English and Spanish.- EndsMust Watch

(Screengrab) Burnett, during her conversation with Mamdani, suddenly played a portion of the assemblyman's rap music video, 'Nani.' He had shared the video in 2019 on YouTube under the name Mr. Cardamom. In the throwback clip, Mamdani is featured alongside his friends and Indian-born British-American actress Madhur Jaffrey. Throughout the video, they dance at various places, including a food truck. At one point, Mamdani is seen rapping while wearing an apron without anything underneath. What does the interview show? During the interview, Burnett starts playing videos from Mamdani's recent campaigns, including one in which he talks about his place of birth and how he got his middle name. As the interview continues, a snippet from his appearance on The Breakfast Club podcast appears on the screen. What follows is Burnett introducing the politician's creative side and playing a portion of the rap video. As the rap continues, Mamdani, clearly caught off guard, tries to maintain his composure. However, eventually, he gives in and starts laughing. 'I didn't think it was going to be on CNN,' he says. The video is posted on the official X profile of the talk show with a caption that reads, 'Watch as #NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani watches his past performance as a rapper and responds to critics who say he's not ready to run New York. He speaks one-on-one with @ErinBurnett.' In 2017, Mamdani released a song titled Salam. In his music video, he praised five men, 'Holy Land Five'. New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani was presented with an awkward blast from his past during a live CNN interview. On Thursday, June 26th, the 33-year-old candidate appeared on Erin Burnett OutFront, during which Burnett decided to remind the audience of Mamdani's past as an aspiring rapper. Burnett proceeded to play a clip from his 2019 music video"Nani", which featured Zohran performing in a food truck with only an apron on. After the clip ended, Burnett quipped "Once you do it, it's out there," to which Mamdani replied, "I didn't think it was going to be on CNN".

Zohran Mamdani's Journey From A "B-List" Rapper To NYC Mayoral Candidate
Currently, people know Zohran Mamdani as a Democratic Socialist contending to be the next mayor of New York City. However, before he became the dependable for NYC progressives, as he is now, he used to moonlight as a rapper - using Young Cardamom or Mr. Cardamom as a moniker. Mamdani has humourously labelled himself as a "B-list rapper" and on his X account, which he used as a rapper, he promoted "Nani", a tribute to his grandmother, that debuted in April 2019. Later on, in the video, Mamdani sports an apron in a food truck with other people, as he raps, "Go head make a wrap for your nani/Get the gwop spend a rack on your nani." The rap video on YouTube has garnered 200,000 views and 43,105 streams on Spotify. Mamdani told the New York Times that the song was written in 2017, about his grandmother Praveen Nair, who was the chairperson of Salaam Baalak Trust. He had rapped publicly the first time when he was in school. In 2015, he adopted his moniker Young Cardamom and collaborated with his friend Abdul Bar Hussein (rapper HAB) on "Kanda (Chap Chap)," a rap song on Ugandan-style chapati. In 2017, the two friends collaborated on a song called #1 Spice, for the Disney film Queen of Katwe for which Mamdani served as music supervisor. The movie was directed by Mamdani's mother Mira Nair. There are positive comments about Mamdani's rapper past. One user has commented on his YouTube song saying, "I love how every other politician has a crazy scandal and Zohran's just out here with a track about his Nani (grannie)." Zohran Mamdani, an Indian origin socialite set to become the Democratic nominee in New York City's upcoming mayoral election, calls himself US President Donald Trump's "worst nightmare." He promised to "Trump-proof" New York City, as the President attempts to attack sanctuary cities, with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raiding immigrants in blue and red cities alike. He also said that he will make New York City a safe city for LGBTQ+ Americans and those looking for reproductive healthcare.
