NBCC (India) secures multiple orders worth Rs 66 crore
NBCC (India) announced that it has secured multiple orders aggregating to Rs 65.73 crore from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The largest of the orders, valued at Rs 43.90 crore, was awarded by RGIPT for providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the construction and development of various buildings, including external development works at the Energy Institute, Bengaluru (Karnataka). The company also received two additional contracts from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. These include the construction of a regional office building in Bhubaneswar (Odisha) and a central covered courtyard at various Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across the state. The combined value of these contracts is Rs 21.83 crore. NBCC (India) is in business and operates in three major segments, namely project management consultancy, real estate, and engineering procurement & construction. The company's consolidated net profit advanced 29.27% to Rs 175.92 crore on a 16.17% rise in revenue from operations to Rs 4,642.55 crore in Q4 FY25 over Q4 FY24. Shares of NBCC (India) rose 0.98% to Rs 118.65 on the BSE.

Admissions open for Class 6 at JNV Dhanansu, apply by July 29
Jul 02, 2025 10:34 PM IST The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has announced that the last date to apply for admission to Class 6 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Dhanansu, for the academic session 2026-27 is July 29. Vice principal Sonu Sharma, who is currently serving as the acting principal, shared that eligible and interested candidates can fill out the admission form online through the official websites and It is mandatory for the student to have studied continuously in recognised schools from Class 3 to Class 5. (Getty Images/iStockphoto) Sharma informed that the entrance exam for Class 6 admissions will be held on December 13. Regarding the eligibility criteria, Sharma explained that the student must be a permanent resident of Ludhiana district and currently studying in Class 5 during the 2025-26 session at a government or recognised school. It is mandatory for the student to have studied continuously in recognised schools from Class 3 to Class 5. Additionally, the child's date of birth must fall between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016.

NBCC (India) secures multi-state Rs 518 cr project from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti
NBCC (India) announced that it has secured a new work from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in four states worth Rs 518.49 crore. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has undertaken several major infrastructure projects across the northeastern and southern regions of India, focused on the construction of permanent campuses for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Notable among these are projects in Lepa Rada (Rs 75.90 crore), Lohit (Rs 72.33 crore), and Noney (Rs 70.29 crore). Other significant works include campuses in Lower Siang (Rs 66.53 crore), Pakke Kessang (Rs 64.75 crore), and dual projects in Majuli and Charaideo, Assam (Rs 55.38 crore each). Additional developments are underway in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana (Rs 46.85 crore), and Sonitpur, Assam (Rs 11.08 crore), reflecting a broad push to strengthen educational infrastructure in remote and underserved regions. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially begun the registration process for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026 for admission to Class 6 for the academic year 2026-27.
