He recalled the conversation they had and shared, 'He said to me the other day, 'Dad, I think I might want to be a musician. My mom is a singer, so why not me?' I just thought that was a beautiful thing.' Dorsey and the Glee actress tied the knot in 2014 and welcomed their son a year later. After experiencing the ups and downs of their marriage, their divorce was finalized in 2018. Tragically, the Baywatch actress died on July 8 after drowning in Lake Piru near Santa Clarita, California. At the time, her then-four-year-old son, who had been with her during the boating trip, was found alone on the boat. 'I wanted to keep [Josey's] life somewhat normal, and I knew I was going to be out of town working,' Dorsey said.
