THUNDERBOLTS* Gag Reel Sees Cast Getting Silly and Making Many Funny Noises—Exclusive Look

Thunderbolts* marked a return to form for the MCU. The franchise's newest super squad came together in an exciting, emotional story. This unlikely union of rejects, failures, has-beens, and never-weres made for a touching and thoughtful tale of found family, purpose, and redemption. Plus it was also really freaking funny. And that was just as true off-screen as it was on. Nerdist has your exclusive first look at Thunderbolts* gag reel from the film's upcoming home release. It's so delightful that even Yelena Belova would laugh at it. Are you not already 100% positive Florence Pugh is one of the most charming people on the planet? What! Why? Actually, don't answer, because this Thunderbolts* gag reel will be all the proof you need to know she is. She's the star of this very funny montage of on-set mistakes, mishaps, misquotes, and minor injuries. There's also a big missed cartwheel into an open elevator. Yet somehow that's not even the only elevator failure in this fun video. Turns out it's hard to make a big dramatic exit when an elevator door won't shut. The flip side is that it's easy to turn that moment into a big laugh for cast and crew alike. This Thunderbolts* gag reel is just one of the many bonus features MCU fans will find when the film makes its debut at both digital shops on July 1 before releasing on Blu-ray on July 29. Other extras include deleted scenes, a director's audio commentary from Jake Schreier, and a bevy of featurettes about the making of the film. We'll never know for sure how many takes got interrupted by an elevator-related issue, but if more of them exist, we hope Marvel Studios saves them for the film's tenth anniversary re-release. We loved Thunderbolts*, which really was a return to form for the MCU. But whether a movie was great or not, gag reels never disappoint. And this Thunderbolts* gag reel is certainly worthy of the new Avengers. RELATED ARTICLE Florence Pugh Fought MCU Lawyers to Jump Off World's Second Tallest Building in THUNDERBOLTS*

Buzz for Brad Pitt's 'F1' Turns Heads Before Rotten Tomatoes Score Reveal

From the director of Top Gun: Maverick, Joseph Kosinski, one of the biggest summer movies of 2025, outside of superhero flicks and dinosaurs, is F1: The Movie. Starring Damson Idris and Brad Pitt as Formula One racecar drivers, the movie will take a high-octane, ultra-realistic look at this badass sport. And, although the film doesn't yet have a Rotten Tomatoes score, movie critics have finally seen F1 and are sharing their reactions on social media. "The sound, score, and cinematography are flawless," wrote Variety editor Jazz Tangcay. And she was not alone. Maude Garrett of Nerdist posted on X that: "F1 is so freaking good. It has all the adrenaline, heart, pacing, story, and character that completely fleshes out this movie into excellence. I can only imagine how much MORE I would love this movie if I was a fan of F1 racing! F1: The Movie is racing into a very packed blockbuster summer. With Sinners, Thundebolts and Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning in the rearview mirror, F1 is sliding into a sweetspot, inbetweeen the release of Ballerina this week, and a masive July ahead. With Superman, Jurassic World Rebirth, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps all coming out in July, it seems very likely that if F1 were coming out later, it could possibly get lost in the shuffle. But these earlier reactions make it seem that the movie will very much be worth our while, and perhaps an exicting dark horse in a sea of conventional summer blockubsters. iTunes recently dropped a streaming preview of F1: The Album. The soundtrack album will include Don Toliver, Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, Chris Stapleton, and for Brad Pitt's 'F1' Turns Heads Before Rotten Tomatoes Score Reveal first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 5, 2025

Bandai Namco is bringing the massively anticipated next game in the franchise to PAX East, and it's combining a demo for the game with immersive theater?! So we absolutely can't wait to discover what this is all about. Here's everything we know about what Elden Ring Nightreign is bringing to PAX East. Before we get into the nitty gritty of Elden Ring Nightreign's PAX East adventures, we'd be remiss not to share a brand new trailer for the game that just recently released. DOCTOR WHO's Ncuti Gatwa and Varada Sethu on Their TARDIS Team's Chemistry and Dynamic

Doctor Who season two is off to a thrilling start, taking us straight to space for a robot-filled adventure. Aptly titled 'The Robot Revolution,' we meet the show's new companion Belinda Chandra, a determined and compassionate nurse who fits right in with the Doctor. Together, the pair end up on a strange planet that's on the brink of a revolution. They fight alongside its residents and unexpectedly find themselves in the midst of a new and dangerous mystery that's preventing Belinda from going home. We caught up with Ncuti Gatwa and Varada Sethu to talk about this fun new TARDIS team and how Belinda stands out from the companion crowd. Nerdist: This question is for you, Varada! Unlike so many other companions who are in awe of the Doctor and ready to embark on an adventure with him, Belinda is not that way at all. She calls him out for causing deaths and taking her DNA without permission. She doesn't want to be his big mystery nor his companion. What do you think this tells us about her overall personality and what kind of traveling partner she will be for the Fifteenth Doctor? Varada Sethu: That's a very good question! I think it says that she's so independent and she has her own way of thinking about things. She has her own life that she wants to go back to. She's not swept up by somebody who comes in and saves the day, but also creates a lot of mess. And she calls them out on all of that. I think a lot of this probably comes from her career [as a nurse]. Belinda is innately a very caring person and very opinionated. You see that at the beginning of the episode as well, where she speaks to her ex and stands up to him. Because she's a nurse, she deals with high stakes all the time, having to make a call, think on her feet, find humor in quite dark situations, and be able to hold compassion and a sense of caring for someone. But at the same time, she has to have boundaries and not let a person take advantage. Nurses have to deal with all sorts of stuff day in, day out… And I think all of those are skills and strengths that she brings to the TARDIS. She stands up to the Doctor and doesn't have a problem in calling him out on craziness! That's a great point. The same qualities a doctor needs, whether it's a traditional one or our Doctor, are what nurses need too. Ncuti, how do you think that the Fifteenth Doctor will continue to evolve with someone like Belinda in his life? Ncuti Gatwa: I think that she will enrich his life and relationships going forward. And [their relationship] teaches him to be a bit more human, even though he's very proudly an alien… you can't have 'yes' people around you all the time. You need someone that's going to call you out and that holds you accountable. It makes you a better person. I love Fifteen and Belinda's relationship because it is really beautiful and very healthy. They truly see each other as well. And that's something that you see time and time again throughout the series. They see each other's vulnerabilities and they have to this season because they're up against so much together. They face a lot just in the first episode, so I cannot wait to see what's next. Varada, how do you think Belinda evolves this season? She's in a situation that she doesn't want to be in, and she's seeing so many things that she's never seen before. Sethu: Well, there's the mystery that they can't figure out why they can't go back to Earth on a particular date. And this makes her a better person because she has to make the best of what she's given in that moment. There's no other choice. So she has to form a deep bond and friendship and trust with the Doctor. I think it makes her a more open person. She meets new people and she's always looking for a connection. I think what I love most about the Doctor and Belinda is every time they come up against someone who is bad, there's an appeal to their humanity. They both kind of wait for the mask to slip and show a vulnerability, and they appeal to it. They're constantly reflecting back to each other, and learning how to live kinder, I think. I think they both lose their temper at things, and they're both able to pull the other back. Doctor Who season two's first episode starring Ncuti Gatwa and Varada Sethu is currently streaming on Disney+.
