Oregon Council for Behavioral Health (OCBH) and Netsmart have unveiled a programme to improve behavioural care across Oregon, US, through advanced technology. Through the OCBH Preferred Partners Program, members will be able to access over 60 solutions and services from the Netsmart CareFabric platform. The initiative is a strategic move in line with OCBH's aim of equipping providers with the necessary technology to offer quality care throughout the state. The behavioural health solutions of Netsmart are designed to offer integrated care by promoting collaboration across various care environments such as certified community behavioural health clinics, community mental health centres, health homes, and accountable care organisations, while also considering social determinants of health. Meaningful AI strategy of Netsmart introduces a unified platform complete with automation solutions and augmented intelligence. This strategy aims to optimise processes, support staff, and simplify reimbursement procedures. The AI-driven clinical coach Bells is one such innovation that reduces administrative burdens by enhancing documentation through ambient listening, suggested note generation, and near real-time transcription. Other AI solutions encompass AlphaCollector, which employs robotic process automation and its digital accompaniment Benny to assist collections staff in engaging clients, thereby streamlining the billing process.
