State liquor store closes in Manchester
A state liquor store has closed at the North Side Plaza in Manchester, officials announced Friday.
The New Hampshire Liquor Commission stopped operating the Liquor & Wine Outlet at 1100 Bicentennial Drive after 'a significant and ongoing maintenance issue caused by a fire sprinkler system,' commissioners said in a news release.
Officials said they are looking for a new location in Manchester's North End.
Five other nearby NH Liquor & Wine Outlets are still in operation on Elm Street and Gold streets, the Hooksett Rest Areas (north and south on Interstate 93), Leavy Drive and Mast Road.
