One person, commenting on Facebook, said: "Oh wow, I'm still trying to finish this years Easter eggs, better hurry so I can start on the Xmas chocs." Another added: "Still wanna eat it though… even if it is 5 months early." A third person commented: "Omg freaking yes!!" Cadbury's Mini Snowballs chocolate bar received rave reviews upon its release ahead of Christmas 2024. One person, commenting on Amazon, said: "My favourite chocolate bar." While another shopper posted: "This new chocolate bar is fantastic. Great taste Fabulous." Mars has also released its first Christmas-themed chocolates of 2025, with Gingerbread Flavour Maltesers Reindeer spotted on Morrisons' website (£1 for one or £2 for a 5-pack). Cadbury is one of the nation's best loved confectioners and is often wowing treat lovers with its inventive new chocolate flavours, such as Caramel Mudcake and Biscoff. "Wow, the peanuts work so well with the creamy Cadbury chocolate!" The tasty treat is an import from Australia, and is being sold by World Snacks UK. It features mouthwatering chocolate, blended together with honeycomb and peanut pieces. Shoppers can buy the imported 100g bar for £4.99 from the World Snacks website. Advertisement The new KitKat Chunky Funky is a crispy cocoa wafer smothered in a marbled mix of creamy milk and white chocolate. Then there's also the KitKat Chunky Salted Caramel and KitKat Blue Riband Vanilla. The Salted Caramel flavour is like a normal KitKat Chunky but it has salted caramel in its milk chocolate. The Blue Riband Vanilla flavour is inspired by the popular chocolatey snack. Advertisement Elsewhere, supermarket chain Farmfoods has started selling rare Japanese KitKat flavours. They include Matcha, Milk Tea and Strawberry. KitKats are wildly popular in Japan and there have been more than 300 limited edition flavours of the chocolate bar released in the East Asian country. The sweets offer triple-layer foam gummi, which is cloud-like in shape and texture. It comes in succulent blueberry, wildberry and strawberry flavours. The flavour comes in 650g packets, so are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Handily, these are resealable so you can have just a cheeky sweet or two and save the rest for later. The company have reportedly been working on Berry Clouds since 2020. This came as part of a remarkable drive for new flavours at Haribo, which earned the company the US Consumer Survey of Product Innovation award in 2022. Berry Clouds are already proving a huge hit with punters lucky enough to get their hands on the new packets. "These are banging" raved one happy fan. 'Our research shows that product innovation works best when it is backed by the solid reassurance of a trusted, known brand. "We are presenting our new pack alongside trusted Haribo global favourites, such as Goldbears and our top-selling packs in travel retail – including the Haribo and Maoam DuoPack Sour and the Haribo Giant Roulette." "This enables us to achieve our mission of giving the shopper the confidence to experiment with new packs, flavours, shapes and textures, driving conversion and spend.' This comes after Haribo recalled packets of sweets in the Netherlands found to contain cannabis. It was reportedly discovered when a family fell ill after eating Happy Cola F!ZZ and contacted the police. An investigation into the alleged incident has now been launched, according to a spokesperson for the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). The authority confirmed that "samples were taken and cannabis was found in them". This also comes after Haribo opened its first-ever stand-alone retail store in Scotland. It is their 12th UK shop in Glasgow.
