Radhika Yadav, 25, a state-level tennis player, was allegedly shot dead by her father at their residence in Gurugram's Sector 57. The incident occurred around 12 noon in the family's residence in Sushant Lok Phase-2, where Radhika Yadav's father allegedly fired five rounds from a licensed revolver. Three of the bullets struck Radhika Yadav after which she was rushed to a nearby private hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The accused has been taken into custody and the weapon used has been recovered. The father shot at Radhika Yadav during an argument over her decision to run a tennis academy, police said.
