PHOTO: DANNY KAAN Les Miserables – The Arena Spectacular coming to Singapore in March 2026 SINGAPORE – Musical fans in Singapore are in for a treat as Les Miserables – The Arena Spectacular is coming here. The production will play at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, from March 24 to April 19, 2026. This is part of its world tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of the world's longest-running musicals. Priority sale and pre-sale of the tickets have begun, with public and early-bird sales set to begin on June 26 at 10am. Les Miserables – The Arena Spectacular is based on French author Victor Hugo's 1862 novel of the same name, a story of love, sacrifice and redemption set in France in the 1800s. It is expanded from Les Miserables The Staged Concert, which had more than 200 performances in London's West End. The Arena Spectacular opened in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in September 2024, and is currently on tour in Taipei. It is set to head to other cities such as Tokyo in August, Osaka in September and Shanghai in November and December. It features a new design created for larger venues and a company of over 65 cast and orchestra members. The score of iconic songs includes I Dreamed A Dream, On My Own, Bring Him Home and One Day More. The show is written by French musical theatre lyricist Alain Boublil and French musical theatre composer Claude-Michel Schonberg. It is produced by British theatrical producer Cameron Mackintosh and Nick Grace Management. The production is presented in Singapore by Base Entertainment Asia under the direction of Chantal Prudhomme. ‘Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular' arrives in Singapore in March 2026
We've already welcomed an incredible line-up of musicals to our shores – from Wicked to The Phantom of the Opera, and Beauty and the Beast arriving this December. Now, musical lovers have yet another reason to rejoice: Les Misérables: The Arena Spectacular is coming to Singapore in March 2026, with performances set to take place at Sands Theatre in Marina Bay Sands. This production is part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of Les Misérables as the world's longest-running musical. It is described as an expanded version of Les Misérables The Staged Concert, and promises a breathtaking reimagining of the iconic musical. Expect a brand-new set design created for large-scale venues, and a powerhouse ensemble of over 65 performers, including cast and orchestra. Behind the production is producer Cameron Mackintosh, known for hit musicals like Cats, Oliver! and Mary Poppins, in collaboration with Nick Grace Management. It is written by the acclaimed duo Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, also known for their work on Miss Saigon and The Pirate Queen. The full cast list is still under wraps and will be revealed in the months ahead. If you've dreamed of witnessing this masterpiece live on stage, now's your chance. The ticket waitlist is currently open via Base Entertainment's website and will close on June 22, 2025 at 11.59pm. UOB and Klook priority access begins on June 23 at 10am. Those on the waitlist and UOB cardholders can purchase tickets from June 24, 10am. The public early bird sale launches on June 26 at 10am, followed by general ticket sales from July 1, 10am.

West End and Broadway star casting announced for Abu Dhabi Premiere of Les Misérables: Arena Spectacular
Cameron Mackintosh, in association with Nick Grace Management, are delighted to announce full casting for the World Tour of Boublil and Schönberg's Les Misérables: Arena Spectacular, which will be heading to Abu Dhabi's Etihad Arena, Yas Island for a strictly limited season from 10-20 April 2025 with a cast and orchestra of over 65. This marks the first time that the world's most famous musical, Les Misérables, will be performed in Abu Dhabi. Tickets are available today via and Proactiv Entertainment has partnered up with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, to bring the beloved production to the capital for the first time. Les Misérables: Arena Spectacular brings together a talented company of acclaimed West End and Broadway performers, including Killian Donnelly (Les Misérables, Kinky Boots, The Phantom of the Opera) as Jean Valjean, Bradley Jaden (Les Misérables, Wicked, Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends) as Javert, Luke Kempner (Les Misérables, Avenue Q, South Pacific) as Thénardier, Linzi Hateley (original Mrs Banks in Mary Poppins, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mamma Mia!) as Madame Thénardier, Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine (Les Misérables, Miss Saigon and who was last seen in Abu Dhabi as Eliza Hamilton in the acclaimed international tour of Hamilton), Beatrice Penny-Touré (The Book of Mormon, The Phantom of the Opera, Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends) as Cosette, Jac Yarrow (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends) as Marius, James D.
